Complacency after the trade deadline??

After the trade deadline was when the Sabres started playing terrible in their own end. They won the 4 games immmediately after the deadline, but gave up 14 goals in those 4 games. Since that point, they have been in the 6 game slide.

 

I wonder how much of this has to do with complacency setting in, knowing that they are not going to be traded.
