darksabre Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 exactly. I love that rule. I remember the time before that rule and coaches would tell their players if your in trouble defensively you best put that puck over the glass your line is running around and giving up scoring chances, you are 90 seconds into a 35 second shift. the puck lands on your stick and an opposing player is charging you down........... ya lets just make shooting the puck outta the rink a defensive faceoff....... And no line change. Make it the same as icing. It's not like there's any difference between the two. Quote
Hoss Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 Just make it faceoff in the zone. It doesn't need to be a penalty. Treat it like icing. Quote
drnkirishone Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 I would be more interested in making obiviously intentional icings a 2 minute minor then I am treating shooting the puck outta play like a icing. If the idea is to not punish accidents why not extend the glass higher? Quote
ubkev Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 Colorado is starting the 3rd well. They keep this up and it will be exciting. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 Having to listen to Brian Engblom, I don't see how there can be one person that will ever criticize Rob Ray again. That man is simply horrible! Quote

ubkev Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 (edited) who scored the last one? Mcginn...right after i flipped back to the blues hawks game lol Edited April 18, 2014 by ubkev Quote
sabre snipe Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 why not a face-off in your own zone and the guy that flips it out of play sits in the box for just 30 seconds? still a big advantage, but not game changing Quote
darksabre Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 All I know is that some day the Sabres are going to be in the Finals. Game 7, 2OT. Tyler Myers is going to accidentally mail a puck over the glass and old man Thomas Vanek is going to score the game winner on the subsequent power play. I don't want that. No one does. Quote
WildCard Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 (edited) Anyone else catch the the Quennenville junk grab directed at the refs? Edited April 18, 2014 by WildCard Quote
ubkev Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 Hahahaha joel q grabbing his balls at the ref. Thats great. Quote

And they almost just got called for it again which would've put the hawks on a 5 on 3. i hate the call when the puck is bouncing or in the air and its whacked out of play. those are just unlucky not sure how to post a GIF like 26 does, but heres the nut grab hahah Quote

WildCard Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 Not so bold prediction: Ville Leino will never play in the NHL again. Wouldn't that make it more bold then? Quote
Trettioåtta Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 Man this Blues game is awesome. It is a shame these two teams met in the first round. I think they might tire each other out so whoever wins loses next round :( Quote
drnkirishone Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 it is indeed bold to think the sabres will someday play against a finnish beer league team for the stanley cup and lose Quote
ubkev Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 Wouldn't that make it more bold then? Idk, maybe its only me who thinks that all the teams think hes the worst player in the league. I think hes absolutely in Finland next year and will remain there in peace for the rest of his days. Quote

darksabre Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 The Kings are the bad news bears tonight. Yikes. Quote
ubkev Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 Oh and Eleven, the Blues ran a diamond formation on that powerplay with one time shooters at both circles. It should have worked. But hey, thats why i dont coach in the NHL. Colorado goes with the empty net with 2:45 left!! Quote
