Eleven Posted April 18, 2014 Author Report Posted April 18, 2014 I liked Anson Carter when he played for Edmonton. Part of that hard-working small market team that mirrored us in a lot of ways pre-salary cap. But then he was on seven teams inside of four years and he became hard to watch. He's an ok player on the right team. Kind of like Paille. Quote
... Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 OMG refing so inconsistent with the regular season. Yes! Quote
... Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 NBC's Chicago crush is annoying already. Quote
ubkev Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 That was piss poor penalty killing in front of Miller. Not only did the Blues take the puck away and fail to clear it, they failed to put bodies on bodies and managed to let Miller get screened the entite time. Quote
WildCard Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 This Blues-Hawks game is getting wild. Looks like the Blues might have found what they lost the last 6 games, scoring Quote
SwampD Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 (edited) Wow. St Louis' 2nd goal was gorgeous. I forgot how good good hockey is. Edited April 18, 2014 by SwampD Quote
bunomatic Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 Watching some of the TSN broadcast. Martin Biron was made for this gig. Quote
Eleven Posted April 18, 2014 Author Report Posted April 18, 2014 It is all happening in this Norris Division game! Quote
Hoss Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 Miller wasn't even kind of ready for that. Was still setting up by the time Kaner shot it. Quote
sabre snipe Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 Miller getting smoked. What a pass by Toews on the Kane breakaway. Seemed like Miller was as deep as you can be in your crease on that second goal. i don't know a thing about goaltending so maybe thats where he was supposed to be since the puck was behind the net but I'm used to seeing him challenge more than that Miller wasn't even kind of ready for that. Was still setting up by the time Kaner shot it. Yeah he didn't even move it was weird to see haha Quote

That goal was on the ###### pk. First and third goals are on him though. Yeah, lousy D on the breakaway but he still should have made the save. Quote
Eleven Posted April 18, 2014 Author Report Posted April 18, 2014 (edited) Unfortunate for McDonagh, but the right call. Edited April 18, 2014 by Eleven Quote
sabre snipe Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 watching the flyers game but I read that Miller just got the Bronx cheer in Game 1 of the playoffs…ouch. could tell it bothered him here when buffalo fans did it Quote
bunomatic Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 Once again the Philthies goaltending becomes a question mark in the playoffs. Who'd a thunk it ? Quote
WildCard Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 WOW. What a save by Crawford, absolutely robs a wide open net Quote
Hoss Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 Meh. Good job by Crawford to sprawl out, but it was an average save. Tarasenko got nothing on it and fumbled the puck. Quote

We'll be seeing that footage for months. It was an INCREDIBLE save. In other goaltending news, Filly. Enough said. Steen might have deserved the call there, actually. Quote
ubkev Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 The blues need a right handed shot at that left circle on the powerplay. Would open up both shots from the point. Quote
