Derrico Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 Anyone know if we have a rooting interest in any of these games based on draft pick positions? I don't think so, but am too lazy to look it up. There's a decent chance we end up with the Wild pick so we don't want them making it to the Conference finals. Quote
waldo Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 (edited) Still lots of x Sabres players in the playoff mix Game seven: Rick Nash alone in front of Mason from ten feet , save glove side.. lol Eat it Blue. Edited April 30, 2014 by waldo Quote

Hoss Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 In the immortal words of Broadway Joe, I want to kiss you. (And a quick handy for not including Carolina) There's a team in one of the Carolina's? Quote
Iron Crotch Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 How the hell did the Rangers not score in that mad scramble mid-way through the second? Quote
IKnowPhysics Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 How the hell did the Rangers not score in that mad scramble mid-way through the second? Because Alain Vigneault is a ######. Quote

I swear to Allah if anyone ever does that to me in a game, I'm going to rip their helmet off, bust four of their teeth out, then wear them like trophies on a necklace. bunomatic Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 The Rags are relentless Or that one. Whichever. I believe that means God willing Quote
Iron Crotch Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 This game got good. The only thing that would make it better is... beer. Quote
bunomatic Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 Flyers are coming on now. Berube must have LOST it between periods. Quote
WildCard Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 This game got good. The only thing that would make it better is... beer. Just went out and grabbed some. ;) I think the Rangers hold on 2-1 to snag an empty netter at the end to make it 3-1, King Henrik is going to win this one for them. I'm much more excited for the Colorado game anyways, and to see if the Sharks can avoid being what we thought they were Quote
Eleven Posted May 1, 2014 Author Report Posted May 1, 2014 One hell of a performance by Mason, even if he loses. What a game he has had! Come on, someone Drury this thing! Quote
Iron Crotch Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 Weird that when the puck got stuck to the outside of the net, the faceoff came outside the blue line. I don't understand why that is the rule. Quote
Eleven Posted May 1, 2014 Author Report Posted May 1, 2014 Alain Vigneault's gut…it's full of dirty old cheeseburgers... Quote
pastajoe Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 Weird that when the puck got stuck to the outside of the net, the faceoff came outside the blue line. I don't understand why that is the rule. If the offensive team was last to touch puck before it gets stuck, face off moves outside the zone. The Legion of Doom is done! Now to focus the mojo against Boston. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 That was fun. Kings - Sharks next on NBCSN. Puck just dropped in the Avs - Wild game on CNBC. Quote
WildCard Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 (edited) Duchene is too nice, so quick. Are they looking at that one because the net came off? I thought the net had to be totally off the hinges to be disallowed? Edited May 1, 2014 by WildCard Quote
Eleven Posted May 1, 2014 Author Report Posted May 1, 2014 Oh, and for the "who do you hate" thing, in no particular order: Boston, Filly, Ottawa, all teams south of the Mas.-Dix. line except St. Louis, and whichever of PIttsburgh-Rags is more likely to collapse and upset their fans. The last rule operated tonight; I wanted Filly to win just to watch the Rags fans get all upset. When it's two teams that I hate, that's the tie-breaker. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 Ref clearly waived off the goal in the Avs game then apparently changed his mind. Quote

I'm all over that Wild game for the first, but then, ugh, early morning tomorrow. But I will have a tele-watch thing with a friend from Saint Paul on the phone, so that's cool. Quote
