dudacek Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 The fact that Reaves, Cracknell and Porter are in for the Blues instead of Roy and Paajarvi probably tells you all you need to know about those players and the type of series this is. Quote

I've been nurturing a pretty healthy man crush on Cracknell since this series started. Quote
G-Daddy Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 I'd have to agree. I'd love to see a Bruins - Blues Finals, just to see the Blues wreck the Bruins (I would pray for a sweep of the Bruins too). I believe they are the only team capable of doing so. Think the Bruins would run Miller if that end up being the match up? I'd love to see the Blues kick Boston. Quote
plenzmd1 Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 (edited) I always thought the Quins was were Miller was going to end up...Fleury is just awful in the playoffs. I am guessing that rebound gets in his head, pulled before the 2nd period. Now its two !!!! Edited April 21, 2014 by plenzmd1 Quote
WildCard Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 Byslma just ripped into Fleury on that timeout :D I think we all know the Pens are all skill and no grit, they're a team that just isn't equipped for the playoffs. I don't think anyone had them going to the Finals, but they should be playing better than this Quote
plenzmd1 Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 I've been nurturing a pretty healthy man crush on Cracknell since this series started. i agree, i confess to watching little to none of Western Conference hockey unless playing the Sabres, but i am impressed with that dude so far Quote
Eleven Posted April 22, 2014 Author Report Posted April 22, 2014 (edited) What is going on in Columbus? Is this even allowed under the new CBA? Oh, never mind. They reversed the call against the Pens and penalized C-Bus. Carry on. (Seriously, though, is a 2-0 Ohio lead allowed?) Edited April 22, 2014 by Eleven Quote
ubkev Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 Fleury reminds me of a cross between Charles Barkley and Dennis Rodman. Nothin but rebounds, baby! Quote
bunomatic Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 Cook just served 2 minutes for kneeing. Pretty bad hit where the player he was stalking moved to the side so Cook stuck out the knee. Quote
pastajoe Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 That was a classic Me Softie goal. Always had trouble with long shots through partial screen. Quote
Eleven Posted April 22, 2014 Author Report Posted April 22, 2014 (edited) OK, there are a billion freaking games on right now, on different channels. I can only find one, and I need help. I feel like my father trying to program his VCR right now. EDIT: I have found the Saint Louis game on CBC, but it's in extra-low-def; like they apply the exchange rate to signals crossing the border or something. Its 91% of American low-def. DOUBLE EDIT: Apparently, there are ~1.1 more commercials. So I guess it evens out. I'm still not ordering from Pizza Pizza. Edited April 22, 2014 by Eleven Quote

Anaheim late game is also on NBC Sports. Quote
inkman Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 After the Backes hit, Duncan Keith yelled "wakey wakey Backes." That's sick. That's corny. Was achy breaky backey already taken? Quote
Eleven Posted April 22, 2014 Author Report Posted April 22, 2014 (edited) Here's what I've got: NHLN (Buffalo cable 312): Minny-Colorado NBCSN (314): Pit-Ohio CNBC (205): Buffalo West - Chicago CBC (16): Blurry Pit-Ohio. It's almost like being drunk. That's corny. Was achy breaky backey already taken? I think Pat RIley trademarked it back in the day. Edited April 22, 2014 by Eleven Quote

JJFIVEOH Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 (edited) Teams that took a two goal lead are 9-6 in thee games so far. Two of those wins were won in overtime by the team that blew a lead. So the record could easily be 7-8. Feel free to re-word that so it makes more sense. Edited April 22, 2014 by JJFIVEOH Quote

Hoss Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 Chicago keeps themselves alive. Maybe I wasn't looking right, but it looked like the Hawks iced the puck right before the empty netter. Did a St. Louis player tip it? Quote
