Hoss Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 (edited) Miller having some really bad luck on those deflections. They didn't have to fine Quinnville so much, and Lucic should get a 1 game suspension. But as we saw in the last game vs Buffalo, the Bruins get protected. I thought he deserved more than one game, but they didn't know Lucic would do that when they fined JQ. Also wouldn't consider it if they did, anyways. Edited April 19, 2014 by Tankalicious Quote
... Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 Holy sh!t, Seabrook needs to be tossed for that. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 Boom! Backed was out! Backed was kind of low, I thinkt those hits happen, can't say it was intent to injure Quote
Hoss Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 Holy sh!t, Seabrook needs to be tossed for that. Yeap. He should be suspended for the remainder of the series. Scary stuff. Elevates right into the head. Quote
... Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 (edited) I all of a sudden do not like Quenneville. Boom! Backed was out! Backed was kind of low, I thinkt those hits happen, can't say it was intent to injure Uh, launches into dude with elbow, leaving ice for momentum, into the boards? Yeah, he had no idea Backes would get hurt. Edited April 19, 2014 by sizzlemeister Quote
skaught Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 He didnt even have the puck, that hit was pretty late. Quote

26CornerBlitz Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 Wow! What a shot by Tarasenko! Quote
wjag Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 What a game. Love these Blues. Seabrook going to get a call from league Quote
sabre snipe Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 Someone should've told seabrook you can only do that and get away with it if you play for the bruins. Dumb dumb Quote
wjag Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 Let's listen to Milbury defend Seabrook Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 It just seems to me that the rule now is that if the guy isn't ready for a hit or it surprises him then the guy who threw a really hard check made a dirty play. It's almost like you are only suppose to check someone unless they are ready to protect themselves, and I understand that but the player doing the checking almost has to read the other players mind. If that makes sense, sorry if it's confusing. Quote

Textbook thug. stop with the elbow talk. It was not a elbow. The elbow was tucked in whole time. It was clearly a targeted head shot and he lunged into the hit to do it. Quote

thewookie1 Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 Seabrook is at fault, but his hit was not intended for the head, Backes was looking down. Additionally he didn't leave his feat or lead with his elbow. However he did hit him in the head and he's ever bee suspended so I'd say a 1 game suspension is all he gets. Quote
26CornerBlitz Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 Pucks to the net yield good things! Quote
Norcal Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 Whoa, maybe it is the Blues turn to get some bounces and make a run for the cup Quote
Hoss Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 (edited) We'll see how the series looks when it gets to Chicago. An incredible first two games. Edited April 19, 2014 by Tankalicious Quote
WildCard Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 Can't understate how big these two wins are for the Blues mentally though. Coming into the playoffs with a terrible losing streak and being able to score two game-tying goals late in the third to win in OT against the defending champs must give them a huge confidence boost Quote

sabre snipe Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 Milbury laughing about the lucid incident…how does this guy have a broadcasting role? Quote
bcsaberks Posted April 19, 2014 Report Posted April 19, 2014 That last shift by Ott was great. Takes a big cross-check, gets up quick, takes a nasty slash on back of leg, shakes it off, finds Toews and drills him. All in about 6 seconds of play. Outstanding. Quote
