Iron Crotch Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Of course. Was there really any doubt the Rangers would score a late one? Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 This game is over..... It was a terrible game, we truly are a last place team.... It was nice just to see dags cross check someone.... Embarrassing Quote
Iron Crotch Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 We gave them a power play on that goal with the bad line change. Good job, boys. Quote
Nitro60 Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Cody scores too bad it is without the puck Quote
Trettioåtta Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Faceoff should have been in the zone. Cody got pushed. The tank continues :( Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Faceoff should have been in the zone. Cody got pushed. The tank continues :( I thought the officiating was pretty inconsistent tonight, however the team was very very terrible so idk how much of a difference it would made.... On that last PP all 5 guys were standing at the blue line just staring at each other as the Rangers just moved it down for a SH chance... It's the NHL that stuff shouldn't happen boys Quote
Nitro60 Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 The worst team in the NHL draws back goalies and the poorest ref crews. Quote
Tondas Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 We lose a lot of one goal games I guess talent equates to one goal a game. I would have thought more than that. Quote
Gramps Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Probably not. Zero goals in over 50 games played. Holy ######. And, making $4.5 million (cap hit). We may be witnessing the worst season any player has ever had in the history of hockey! Jokerit will welcome him back with open arms ... Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Countdown to offensive futility. Sabres need 4 goals to tie Tampa as the worst offensive team in 78 years. Quote
Nitro60 Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Sabres must get goal scorers in the off season. Averaging less than 2 goals a game is brutal in an 82 game season. Quote

JJFIVEOH Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 (edited) What about shootout goals? I didn't include those. Sabres have scored 147 goals, Tampa scored 151. Last team to average 1.8 goals per game was the 1936 Canadiens. Edited April 11, 2014 by JJFIVEOH Quote

bunomatic Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Draft the best player, period Best player. I agree. Problem is there isn't consensus as to who is the best between the top 3. They are all pretty close. Quote

They are all pretty close. Which is why I have said countless times, take the forward. However I believe this is a conversation for another thread and another time. We can't score goals and our possession stats suck. This team will be a bottom 5 team again next year. 84 more games of crap at least are left. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 I don't like saying this, but Ehrhoff needs to be moved just on principle alone. You can't mail in a season like he has with all of the youth this team is expected to have. He's mailed it in since the deadline and still been one of the best d-men out there. I don't see it. Hackett played well, Weber played well, and Girgensons played well. Leino entertained me. Quote

Oh, before the internetz jumps in and blows my statement out of proportionz, I'm talking only degrees of "so bad"...I'm in no way suggesting they'd be a wildcard contender if Ehrhoff, alone, were playing like he's capable of. Kristian Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 (edited) Jokerit will welcome him back with open arms ... I'll drive him! Draft the best player, period Forwards are usually a lot easier to move though, so draft the forward, trade him for a d-man prospect if the need arises. And they already drafted Zadorov and Risto, last year. This team should draft nothing but centers, as paper-thin as we are at that position. Edited April 11, 2014 by Kristian Quote
