Hodgson has looked pretty good on the wing, maybe having a little more space has given him the confidence to start carrying the puck, one of my biggest peeves about him in the past couple of months was his lack of puck possession and in the last 2 games, he's been holding on to it and trying to make plays. Maybe his place is a winger in the top 6 and not a center, I don't care where he plays, as long as he produces, or at least tries to.

As always, thanks 26, great job.

It's great if McCabe plays. We get another chance at seeing the future of Buffalo's draft picks and get an idea of how he'll perform. Unfortunately for him he'll be playing against one of the best teams in the NHL.

I'm relieved Miller won't be in goal tonight. As many times as I've watched him play since the trade, I'm somehow not ready to see him play against Bflo.

Anybody else feel that way?

Agreed; I'd like the first time Miller plays Buffalo to be actually challenging rather than just a feel good shut out for Miller

@ChrisRyndak

Forwards: Leino-Ennis-Deslauriers. Hodgson-Girgensons-Flynn. Foligno-Larsson-D'Agostini. Conacher-Ellis-Stewart. No Stafford. #sabres

Weber and Tallinder are not skating. Defenseman on the ice: McCabe, Ristolainen, Ehrhoff, McBain, Ruhwedel and Scott. #sabres

Looks like Nathan Lieuwen will start in goal tonight. #sabres

Stewart working with Joe Sacco at center ice on some extra skating drills as the skate winds down. #sabres
