PromoTheRobot Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 (edited) Can't believe how bad the Sabres are? Look at the roster. How many of these players were here a month ago? That's why. Edited March 28, 2014 by PromoTheRobot Quote

Iron Crotch Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 I was at that abortion of a game. Luckily alcohol is my friend... An oddly high number of Sabres fans there. Quote

pastajoe Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 The needs of the parent club outweigh those of the farm club. The Sabres don't have a lot of talent, and watching them play can be maddening, but you dress the best guys in the organization. If that was true then Risto, Pysek, and Rhuwedal would never have been sent down and would have played instead of McBain, Tallinder, and Sulzer or Weber. They want the kids to get playoff experience. That's not going to happen if they don't make the playoffs. So send the best eligible players back to Rochester and give them a chance. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 Better view of the timeout from the Nashville feed. Nolan looked pissed! Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 This is what happens when you blame the coach for management's problems, DeLuca. Don't forget it. Learn the lesson. It's 20-30 games of playing good for the new guy and that's it. And I freaking LOVE Nolan. Good point....Dallas now 5 points out of a playoff spot.... ;) Quote
skaught Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 I wake up in cold sweats thinking the Sabres draft the NHL's version of Ryan Leaf next June. Just our friggin' luck. :wallbash: Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 tomorrow I think we should re-write "dream on" and create "Tank ON." Does Joe Battista get to play Martin Tupper? Quote

North Buffalo Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 Not sure of tie breakers, but I believe the Isles with 1 point pick up last night still need 1 more point or another Sabres loss to assure them of at least a top 5 draft pick. Friend of mine in the know near people in the Sabres says Foligno hanging out with Stafford too much and it is showing with his effort. Gotta get rid of Stafford now! Quote

Rasmus_ Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 When losing to a team like Nashville 6-1, you just want the season over. I know they have their ace in the hole goalie back and starting to streak in the right direction...but Nashville has sucked mightily this season. Lets go St. Louis. Quote
North Buffalo Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 The same drew stafford that's playing the most inspired hockey of his career? Yup, saw that last night did you? Quote
Rasmus_ Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 The same drew stafford that's playing the most inspired hockey of his career? He should have never been resigned. His contract year was a classic bluff on the Stafford "potential." I've never been a fan. He can go somewhere else and be someone elses problem. Personally, I'd rather overpay Callahan than have this goof for another season. He totally needs a change of scenery pre 2013. Quote
