dudacek Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 Living out here in Canuckland this game has traditionally meant so much to me. But it is so hard to care about this game tonight. Can we fast forward to next year yet? Quote
Jsixspd Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 He's young and it takes time to evaluate him. I think he could develop into a fine goalie from what we've seen. He has faced 35 shots on goal so far. Quote
dudacek Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 But Nolan said if Hodgson gets if within five feet of the net it's in.... Quote
Nitro60 Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 There is no semblance of offensive cohesion. They play like this is a pick up game at Holiday Twin rinks Quote
Iron Crotch Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 (edited) It really is incredible how bad this team is. Did I just see a line with Zenon Kanopka, John Scott, and Matt Ellis? Sweet baby Jebus on a cracker, I must have made some bad decisions in my life to be subjected to that. This is as untalented of a team as the league has seen in a long time... we have cast-offs and nobodys on all 4 lines... Edited March 24, 2014 by Potato Quote

Nitro60 Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 Sorry for the confusion. - I should have quoted. Nitro jumped in at the same time I posted - I was replying to your post about Lieuwen. Some posters (I don't think you) were impressed with him initially, but that seemed to die out, and change to criticism, after he gave up a couple goals. It was a joke about fickle fans. LOL Ok, blame me. :) Quote
Jsixspd Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 The Sabres are on a tear here. I think they've had 2 whole shots in the last 4 or 5 minutes. Quote
Nitro60 Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 CoHo is a NoGo. Shooting straight into the pads does not mean you will score. Quote
Jsixspd Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 Only 18 shots on goal against the Canucks - ugh!!!! Quote
Nitro60 Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 I doubt that this group will win more than 2 games this season. No effort or passion out on the ice. Where was the physical play? The hustle? They are auditioning for next season. I just don't get it. Quote
WildCard Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 Anyone else watching the stats MSG is displaying about Kassian? :w00t: Quote
Iron Crotch Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 CoHo is a NoGo. Shooting straight into the pads does not mean you will score. CoHo is not that good, but the rest of the team is so bad that he looks like a super-star in comparison. Classic contrast effect. Quote
Brawndo Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 Anyone else watching the stats MSG is displaying about Kassian? :w00t: He needs to be traded to an Atlantic Division Team. He will have a HOF Career. Quote
Eleven Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 He needs to be traded to an Atlantic Division Team. He will have a HOF Career. He needs to stay here and have real wings on either side in two or three years. This game surprised me. I really thought the Sabres would beat the Canuck tire fire. Lieuwen--umm--not such a great evening. I certainly won't lay the whole game on his pads, but that second goal (or was it the third? It was Weber on Weber), yeah, that's one that you've got to stop. Andrew Amerk Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 CoHo is not that good, but the rest of the team is so bad that he looks like a super-star in comparison. Classic contrast effect. So now CoHo is the scapegoat? He is the problem? Quote

Andrew Amerk Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 Zack attack with 4 primary assists. He's like the next Wayne Gretzky (to quote our beloved Harry Neale)! ”Last season we couldn't win at home and we were losing on the road. My failure was that I couldn't think of any place else to play.” - Harry Neale Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 24, 2014 Report Posted March 24, 2014 THE TANK IS VICTORIOUS! I thought it might be, so I did my normal Sunday night bicycle pub crawl. If you watched the game, I bet my night was better than yours. Our first stop was at The Flying Saucer The second stop was at Lola's Saloon, And then on the way home I stopped for some late night tacos at El Tacolote. I ended up with almost 25 miles ridden for the night. Quote
