Johnny DangerFace Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 how about instead of blaming coaches we blame the players. 4 drops so far today, and an amazing false start on third down in the redzone. Good lord, hopefully the texans enjoy beating themselves more than the bills like to hurt themselves.
ubkev Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 No. Run the football. He had completed 5 in a row and was starting to roll. 1 yard rush. If he's ever going to be successful he has to be able to throw for TDs in the red zone. Yes! Bills ball! No! Andre Johnson fumble -2.
Hoss Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 If Manuel leads Williams on that 3rd down it's a TD. Linebacker was underneath and Chandler ran off the safety. Nice play design poorly executed.
Johnny DangerFace Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 Good lord, hopefully the texans enjoy beating themselves more than the bills like to hurt themselves. A turnover and personal foul will do just fine. Just fine indeed

Fantasy football is the best  I wish Fred Jackson were 10 years younger. His vision and patience is just at another level.
ubkev Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 That's just how it's done. Fantasy football is the best  I wish Fred Jackson were 10 years younger. His vision and patience is just at another level. This is true. Most know my stance on Fred, but I will never argue this point.
TrueBlueGED Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 There's the Fitz we all know and love! If he had the arm to lead Hopkins across just a little more, that's a huge completion.
JujuFish Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 "Thanks for catching that ball for me, Hopkins. I'll take it from here."
TrueBlueGED Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 And there's the EJ we all know and hate. That ball is a foot lower it might be 6. Sadness.
ubkev Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 (edited) Sammys route got cut off by the DB covering, the tight end. that would have been a huge gain. I think EJ released it before Watkins got cut off. Edited September 28, 2014 by ubkev

I think EJ released it before Watkins got cut off. I think that's part of why he was so open. Looked like the safety stopped pursuit for a second because he thought Watkins was going to fall.

Looked like the safety stopped pursuit for a second because he thought Watkins was going to fall. Could be. One thing I do know is that the pass to Woods was 3 feet left of where it should have been.
TrueBlueGED Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 Bleh. That sucked. Don't think that play happens with Byrd back there :(
Johnny DangerFace Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 Bleh. That sucked. Don't think that play happens with Byrd back there :( Graham didn't even seem to be paying attention to his man
TrueBlueGED Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 Graham didn't even seem to be paying attention to his man He was expecting a scramble or underneath throw. The safety, meanwhile, was going full speed and didn't have the range to get over.
Johnny DangerFace Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 Goodness. I almost just threw up. Yea no kidding. This is the type of game I half expected though. I we just played a strong fundamental game this was an "easy game" Way too much to ask
TrueBlueGED Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 1) That was a hilariously terrible pick by Manuel. How do you think you're getting that through Watt? 2) Can we please treat Watt like the best defensive lineman in the league, and either actually block him or direct our offense away from him? Every time he's lining up wide he's either blocked by a back, TE...or nobody.
Hoss Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 The receivers doing just enough to make sure the Manuel apologists can deflect blame.
Wyldnwoody44 Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 +2 turnover margin and we are losing..... EJ isn't accurate, and the play calling and clock management are terrible...... I want "hack" ett gone and Manuel on the bench
Johnny DangerFace Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 The receivers doing just enough to make sure the Manuel apologists can deflect blame. No doubt Manuel has been bad and inaccurate and holding this team back. But let's not pretend that our WRs arent having a terrible game catching what balls do get to them
TrueBlueGED Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 The receivers doing just enough to make sure the Manuel apologists can deflect blame. Well, there *is* plenty of blame to go around on offense. Manuel had sucked, receivers have sucked, and it seriously doesn't look like the staff felt the need to game plan for Watt (I'm sure they did, it's just a horrible plan).

The receivers have been pretty terrible today. But Manuel has missed on some HUGE chances and that pick is unforgivable.
