LastPommerFan
This is the craziest thing I've ever seen. There is no way EJ rushes for 3 TDs. Well, he'd have had 4, but the Bills foolishly elected to defer in a game that never made it to the second half. Just piss poor coaching.
Derrico
But tank, the experts are favoring the Dolphins to win this one http://www.footballlocks.com/nfl_odds.shtml Hahahhaha just joking man.

I wouldn't question anybody going either way in this one, tho. Teams are very close. (I predicted incorrectly, but I still think the Bears are the better team). Teams im confident that we're better than: Jacksonville, Oakland, Cleveland, Tennessee, Kansas City, Minnesota, Dallas, New York Giants, Washington, Miami. TrueBlueGED
The Associated PressVerified account@AP BREAKING: AP Source: Law enforcement official sent copy of Ray Rice tape to NFL executive in April So I've generally been a supporter of Goodell's tenure as commissioner (minus the whole destroying the spygate tapes)...but not anymore. Amazing how much happier I am today to have tix to the Fish game than I was 2 weeks ago. The atmosphere should be like being there back in the Kelly - Marino days. (As long as it doesn't turn into the typical Fergy - Griese game, I'm good w/ it.)
IKnowPhysics
Yeah, I'm not sure there's anyone that isn't looking forward to that atmosphere on Sunday. I think the whole place is going to burn down. I just hope they capture some of that on the TEEvee.

There has been lots of talk about how epic and awesome Sunday is going to be, I'm worried that a time to celebrate will be ruined by Buffalo's impeccable ability to melt down. LastPommerFan
Even if we're losing on the field, it'll still be one hell of a party, because we'll be winning at life. I've been to three bills games in my life. of the approximately quarter million people who have attended with me, I found less than, maybe, 100 would qualify as "winning at life". Keep in mind, I'm not talking about the city of Buffalo, just the people at 1 Bills Drive on Sundays in the Fall. Also, I have a very low threshold for "winning at life" Edited September 11, 2014 by Glass Case Of Emotion
Member Berries
I know this is probably not the thread for it, but has anyone else noticed the NHL is the only league not completely blanketed in controversy lately? NFL has the Ray Rice thing, Bad drug issues and players getting shot on a by-yearly basis. NBA has serious racism issues. And MLB has horrible PED scandals, the METS thing now and just recently solved their issue with avoiding technology.

nfreeman
Anyone get a chance to read this? I don't even care if it is it's true. http://boards.buffal...-Victories-Ever Good read, although the part about doubling the $400MM is baseless and the part about jail is from outer space. Still, I agree with much of it. Thanks Ralph.

So he's half super knowledgeable and level headed, half blabbering idiot tripping on acid (feel free to choose which is which)? I'd love to see how those two mix. Claude_Verret
http://www.buffalone...two-bills-drive Could this be the biggest home opener in Bills history? Some fans suggest it was 1980, when the Bills broke a 20-game losing streak against Miami; or 1986, Kelly’s home opener; or when the Bills shut out the New England Patriots, 31-0, in 2003, according to Bills play-by-play announcer John Murphy. “But I think a lot of people view this as the most highly anticipated home opener for the Bills,” Murphy said. I'll be there this weekend, and was there for both of the two bolded games as well. I was this close to going to the 1980 game against the fish, but my parents took my brother instead. Hank
Bovada has the bills at +1, I think that's easy money. They are also giving UB +35 tonight. I'm thinking of dropping some money on the bills, anyone think they can cover?

Hank
Oops. I meant to say I was thinking of dropping some money on the bulls, I'm definitely betting on the bills. So, you think UB is a bad bet. I'm on the fence on this one. We need a sports gambling thread. Between fantasy sights like Fan duel and online casino sites I'm willing to bet there's more posters involved in it than we might think.

If Baylor has second- and third-stringers in for the third and fourth quarters, maybe UB covers. Edited September 12, 2014 by Eleven
