Marrone also announced that they'll run the 4-3 exclusively which should scare people. Some guys who had big success last year (Lawson, Hughes) have struggled in the 4-3.

I'm not going to sit here and say I'm thrilled, but I do think the base defense is a bit of a red herring since teams spend most of the time in nickel packages anyway. And the base doesn't really tell us how players will be used. For example, many pundits scratched their heads when Denver drafted Von Miller thinking he's an imperfect fit at best for a 4-3 scheme. Fox and his staff (not exactly the most modern coaches in the world) have put him in a position to become a star.

I'm surprised this isn't getting more traffic here. Must be everyone is on TBD.

The Wilson thread is pinned on the top of the page.

that picture of #12 and #34 doing the puzzle is beyond heart-warming.

I can still remember when they didn't get along. That picture demonstrates that they built a friendship beyond the bounds of football.

At least we're still better than Cleveland ;)

I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure that both Montreal and Toronto has won the Grey Cup in the last 20 years.

DC, Kansas City, and Salt Lake City have all won the MLS Cup recently too.

I'm pretty sure--don't hold me to it, though--that Cleveland won a Jarts championship in the late Seventies. It's not the Grey Cup, but it's damned close.

The Bills are as good as gone.

Based on what evidence? I was jumping to this conclusion, too, but I have come back down to see that the NFL won't allow Buffalo to move if there's even a semi-legitimately way to keep the team around. They'll always have relocation options, even though I don't think LA will be one by the time Buffalo can move, but I just don't think that they'll value another market over Buffalo.
