Buffalo Bills 2014

Not enough to be meaningful. Two mediocre franchises.

#Tankemall!

FWIW, our two best players are our two highest picks: Dareus and Watkins. So #Tank?

Today's game was a microcosm of the last 15 years. Are we dead? Is this hell? Will we ever break out of this cycle of mediocre suckiness?

We are Homer Simpson being fed donuts off a conveyor belt in the Hell of Ironic Punishments.

Orton is mr average.Nice arm..accurate and decent strength. But even in the Jets game we just didn't take advantage until the 4th or 5th turnover.

Too much dawdling toward the red zone. Same thing every single time. The 43 vs the jets a mirage. Orton is an 8-8 kinda guy--That said he's better

than EJ 'canthitthebroadsideofbarn' Manuel.

I went today, and the crowd was into it big time, very loud

The officiating was just brutal, this coming from the stadium and not seeing expanded coverage on TV, but that 4th and 1 call to keep that crucial drive alive killed and should never happen.

Orton choked under pressure today, plain and simple, when it mattered for 7 pts we couldn't deliver

Chandler must have eaten popcorn before the game with his buttery fingers, unacceptable.

I feel bad for our D as the offense has no rhythm, no long stretch game and just general ineffectiveness

This game+Houston =no playoffs this year

I like Orton, but he needs to extend the play sometimes. At the first sign of trouble, he threw the ball away. That's fine most of the time; live to fight another play, but he would do it when he had a lot more time to make something happen.

This team is beyond frustrating because they are soooo close.

If the Bills spent their third round pick on Russell Wilson instead of a fun-size speed receiver named TJ Graham, we'd be contenders right now.

*sigh*

No, but there were plenty of chances to win that game. He kicks when he's supposed to run, and throws when he's supposed to kick. He has no concept of how the clock works.

Exactly. He doesn't seem like a man who can think more than one play ahead of where he is. I am shocked with how poorly the offense is run that Orton hasn't gone rouge yet and just started calling audibles at the line. Terry Pegula should find himself a new head coach and offensive coordinator.

At some point somebody in control has to realize that it's a culture thing and wipe EVERYBODY out. And DON'T let your ###### GM on the way out pick his successor (even if Whaley has been decent).

This is why I won't be unhappy if they finish 7-9. I don't think they're going to turn the corner and become a real team unless and until Brandon, Whaley and Marrone are gone.

If I'm one of the team leaders--say Jackson or one of the big Williamses--I'm taking Marrone aside today: "Coach, you let 47 men down yesterday. We played our ###### off for you. You cost us the game."

I don't know. In past games I would have said that, but I really didn't have a problem with the coaching yesterday. I have to believe that Manny Lawson didn't sleep very well last night. He bit so hard on that read option, once for the go ahead touchdown on fourth down, and another late in the game that would have given us the ball back. One word Manny, contain. There's the game right there.

I think Bryce Brown is the one who had the toughest night. There was a lot of football played after that fumble, but I think we walk away with that one if we get that TD there. They would have opened up a big lead and I think it would have been over right there.

Orton is okay to have around as a backup. Not a starter. The sooner the Bills drop out of contention, the better, because then they can put EJ back in and let him develop. Give him some starter reps without too much pressure to win.
