yup i'v been a fan of the watkins trade since day 1. I'll take an elite top 3 player of the draft instead of two 10-20th best players any day. Would anyone not trade any two of our mid-first rounders for watkins? (Manuel, Gilmore, Spiller, Maybin, McKelvin, Lynch). Pretty obvious talent gap if you ask me

Loved the win. Does Hackett realize that the team can throw downfield other than in obvious desperate situations? I really want him gone.

Swamp, a HORRIBLE call on that Minnesota reception that was out of bounds. Thankfully it didn't affect the game. Same goes for the grounding penalty.

That just looked like they didn't have enough to overturn it. Although, my Slingbox feed was pretty bad today. My issue is always when and on who they decide to call PI, offensive or defensive. If they call that on our first drive and we score there, it's a completely different game,… and that was PI. Then, for the rest of the game, their DBs have to play a little off the receiver and it opens them up.

The team with the better quarterback won

:wanttomakedevilfacebutimonmyphone:

I wasn't so sure about this for the first 58 minutes :P

In seriousness, my Watkins comment was not meant to say he's more valuable than a good QB. Just directed at the "never take a WR in the 1st crowd". If you get one of those special talents, it can be worth it.

Ah, I'm not against taking a WR with a first round pick. I am against taking a WR with 2 first round picks.

Why is Dixon's name 'Boobie'?

Why isn't yours Boobie?

I was there 13 rows up from the goaline where Sammy scored. Fantastic seats. ###### game for all but one second. But that's the one second that mattered.

Was Pegula there? I thought we would have seen a lot more (as in one) shots of him in his suite cheering the game Robert Kraft style.

Terry doesn't cheer, or even watch. He drinks wine and schmoozes.

APOLIGIZE TO HOGAN RIGHT NOW

I will not. He made a great catch today. But he should not be a team's #3 receiver. He had a costly fumble, ran a route short on 3rd down, and either him or woods ran the wrong route on a different play. Hogan should be a #5 receiver who plays good special teams, and can play a few snaps on offense and not cost the team. I don't know why he played so many snaps today

Nickname from his Freshman Year at Miss. State. Some of his teammates thought he reminded them of "Boobie Miles" the RB from the Book Friday Night Lights. The name stuck with him

So did Woods.

So I want to bring up a play in the game I simply did not understand.

Right after the Bills scored the first TD, they squib kicked the ensuing kick off. The result of the play was the Vikings got the ball on the 40. One long pass to Jennings and they went in to score. Who on God's green earth calls a squib kick after that? They have a kickoff specialist. I wanted to comment then but this site quickly became unusable like every Sunday afternoon when the Bills play.

Any comments?

Yea but Woods is talented :P

And I have no idea what happened with the kick off. The kickoff was a head scratcher, as was running dixon up the middle over and over especially when he looked like he was going to pass out, and forgetting that throwing to watkins was working was goofy as well

That Houston game was a killer. Orton would have won that one. ...any competent QB would have won that one.

Yea the chargers game was a team disaster, and the patriots game was similar (so many mistakes). But that houston game was on Manuel. Any QB that was capable of throwing a ball would have won that game.

We've been over this. Last weeks call on Hughes confirmed for me what I already knew. Refs don't always call what they see happen. They call what they think they see happen. They bring all their biases with them to the game. If they think a team is good then they see certain play a certain way. If the know a team is terrible (ie, the Bills) the they see a play in a different way. You can't tell me that a new ref (which there are a lot of this year) who is making 70K a year doesn't get starstruck by being on the feild with the great Tom Brady and give that team the benefit of the doubt on every one of his calls. Shoot, I think I would probably even do it.

Which Vikings were the refs star struck by today, resulting in yet another series of unfair calls against the Bills?

When was the last time the refs were not biased against the Bills? Surely it must've happened at some point?
