darksabre Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 I might not have worded things right the first time: Signs point to the team not wanting him around--he was benched yesterday and his nameplate was gone. So now he's seeking a trade to a team where he can play. I think it's the other way around.
LGR4GM Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Good. Bills fans can have him. Hopefully he's tired of his hockey toy and now the Sabres can enjoy a period where good hockey people are in charge and the owner isn't hanging around during the summer eating Goobers and Pretzeldoodydoos.
CallawaySabres Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Send Mike Williams and Spiller to a team for a guard. If this team is going to make the playoffs, it has to fix the run game.
Doohicksie Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Well who are you going to put there then ? are they having tryouts ? i'll come over if they do  Let the kid grow on the job. I only mentioned the "Kyle Orton era" because I saw it in a headline after the Detroit game. Era. Like, as in, a long time. Orton is never going to be anything but a stop-gap.
inkman Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Send Mike Williams and Spiller to a team for a guard. If this team is going to make the playoffs, it has to fix the run game. Guards are never make or break position. Is it nice to have competence at the position but getting a fat guy to hug another fat guy for .1 second longer is not going to change things for the Bills.
Stoner Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 http://youtu.be/X576-G5GT3g I'm not watching all that. Does a horse die?
I am Defecting Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 One Buffalo. Won Buffalo? No, it's pronounced "own."
calti Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 this trade spiller stuff...come on. yes he has underachieved and been misused. but you trae him then fred is too old in a yr or 2 and then you have to use picks on a rb. bad idea.

They already have 2 better RBs on the roster in Dixon and Brown. Spiller is Darren Sproles lite. The Bills need to use him as such or get rid of him.
Hoss Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 I don't see any way CJ Spiller is with this team beyond this season.
Hoss Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 Jeff Garcia said he spoke with the Bills about the QB coach position... Jeff Garcia Football @JeffGarciaJGFA @jpq1999 @TheBurkeReport @williammn34 @TheFanVent Nate Hackett is one of my friends, I spoke to him in the offseason about the QB job.
Jsixspd Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 Owners shouldn't fire coaches — or say they ain't going anywhere. Owners fire presidents or GMs. Exactly. So Mike Williams wants out of Buffalo eh? I bet that has nothing to do with how dumb our offense is. #FireNateHackett If they fire Hackett, Marrone should be shown the door too. Hackett is in the job, and continues to hold the job, because he's one of Marrone's flunkies from SU.

dEnnis the Menace Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 You wont hear any complaints from me if Marrone is shown the door. I want Hackett to be shown the door first.
darksabre Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 I want Hackett to be shown the door first. Well sure, but we're just talking in circles now.
kishoph Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 (edited) Twitter says it's because his agent requested the Bills allow him to seek a trade. So that's probably why no locker name. The question is, why does Mike Williams want out? I reckon the answer isn't too hard to find. The name tag removed from the locker room was Chris Williams who is now on IR. Mike Williams probably wasn't too happy with getting 2 throws targeted to him out of 43 attempts against the Lions then to be sat against the Pats probably compounded things. JJFIVEOH Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 Robviously, do you agree or disagree with my reply to you on the last page?
dEnnis the Menace Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 Well sure, but we're just talking in circles now. Circles schmircles. Show the guy the door then we'll talk

Maybf M Williams is confused on which nameplate they removed
Hoss Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 The name tag removed from the locker room actually was Mike Williams. Reporters are the ones that picked up on it.
cdexchange Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 I'd say there is literally 0% chance Marrone gets canned until we're mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. If/when that happens, Schwartz would be almost a lock for interim head coach, IMO.
kishoph Posted October 15, 2014 Report Posted October 15, 2014 The name tag removed from the locker room actually was Mike Williams. Reporters are the ones that picked up on it. Well then I guess it's got to be true, maybe unless it was reported otherwise.

wjag Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 So if the Bills get shutout today, we'll have the Buffalo sports trifecta. What should we call it? Bazinga?
