qwksndmonster
Yea but the bills do it to themselves. That last noncall where it was clear PI on sammy watkins was BS. But this team has 10 penalties, they can blame themselves. Bills O in the first half? Sure. Elsewise, the team is playing ok.
Claude_Verret
The no PI call on Watkins doesn't even begin to describe to awful officiating this game. WWF like.

qwksndmonster
Another flag picked up. I hope Marrone gets kicked out for flipping out. Our offense appears to have actually made some half time adjustments, so that's new.
Johnny DangerFace
Bills O in the first half? Yea. It was pathetic haha Ah, there is the unbelievable boneheaded defensive unnecessary roughness penalty. Look at these penalty stats for the year (this is separate from the ref argument, just how annoyed I am at how undisciplined this team is). I don't know if that is so much worse than the league average or not, but it is an area that can be improved and help the team so much, you can't just give away 100 yards a game 9 - 108 3 - 20 11 - 110 8 - 40 10 - 70 (so far today) Edited October 5, 2014 by Numark

inkman
I don't know how fans can assign sole blame to the refs. The Bills are ducking giant ######. It must be cool to go through life without accepting responsibility for your actions. It always someone else's fault. No just like the Bills, you are a loser. Including me. Except your previous post indicts Bills fans as always thinking next year will be better. No one here thinks like that. The bills have no business being in this game. Claude_Verret
I'm no Bills apologist, but if you haven't seen the crucial ref calls/non calls that have killed the bills today then I don't know what you're watching.
qwksndmonster
Ink nobody is saying the refs are solely reaponsible. Ever. We know the Bills suck. That doesn't mean the refs don't also suck, or that we can't get pissed when they hurt our team. Eesh.

But I don't think bad calls against the bills have had a huge impact today. Penalties had a huge impact against the bills in the first half (the bills fault), and penalties have helped us a lot in the second half (lions fault)

TrueBlueGED
Marrone and Hackett are boobs Don't go degrading boobs that way. Took 1 play for the Lions to get better field position than they'd have had if we turned it over on downs. Sigh. Bills win in a way they normally lose. I'll take it. wjag
I'm stunned they won that. Did not get to watch it after the Brooks injury. Checked in on score at half and saw they were down 14-3. Wow. Awesome.. 3-2. Maybe, just maybe. 300+ yards for Orton against #1 Defense. Keep it rolling.
darksabre
Kyle Orton, if not a serviceable quarterback, is at least funny. Did anyone see Freddy stalking the sidelines like a man possessed trying to will the defense to victory? I love that guy.

qwksndmonster
That game was redonkulous. Man if I was a Lions fan I'd be pissed about the refs today Why, other than to be facetious? I can't believe the Bills won that game. The Dude nails a 58 yarder to complete the Lions defeat at the hands of the Lions.

Sabres Fan in NS
For the first time in a very long time the Bills managed to ###### victory from the jaws of defeat, instead of the opposite. EDIT: Damn filter!! Why is that a bad word? Edited October 5, 2014 by Sabres Fan In NS
Iron Crotch
I don't care how ugly it was, a win is a win. That pick-6 by Orton was just brutal. But, he also made just enough plays to win the game. So, thumbs up for Orton in his first regular season game in a long time (30 of 43 for 308).
