Norcal Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Got whooped tonight. Nashville has a tight checking style the Sabres couldn't figure out. Myers looked like he had a shadow all night in the offensive end. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Getting tantalizingly close to completing the mission: http://www.sportsclu....c/Buffalo.html Way cool. If I am looking at this right we (the Sabres) are 94% assured of being the best seed in the draft lottery and a 5% chance of being the 2nd best seed in the draft lotto and 1% chance of being the third best seed in the lotto. So, after tonight's game we are 99% assured of drafting either #1, or #2. I stand by my earlier prediction. Oh, we have been officially eliminated from playoff contention. Not exactly sure when that happened. Quote
IKnowPhysics Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 VICTORY!! TANK CATS SUCCEED IN NASHVILLE! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSBKZPNsK74 This might actually be a reasonable assertion. I'd say per dollar, he's gotta be wayyy up there. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Last minute we got a suite for the game with 13 peeps.... I found myself sucking down drinks in the Harbour club and ended up missing a very good chunk of the game... Hell the only sabres goal I was stuck in the elevator for....Very poor Game Quote
Marvelo Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 It's just very sad that we picked a guy off waivers and he goes straight to our #1 line. Quote
LGR4GM Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 It's just very sad that we picked a guy off waivers and he goes straight to our #1 line. It should show the utter lack of depth and talent for our forwards. Quote

Iron Crotch Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 (edited) It's just very sad that we picked a guy off waivers and he goes straight to our #1 line. Werd. And, we've been combing the trash heaps all season. D'Agostini, Omark, Konopka, Conocher... Playing with effort is great and is a testament to Ted Nolan. But, we're desperately in need of a few guys who can actually put the puck in the other team's net. Edited March 12, 2014 by Potato Quote
IKnowPhysics Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 It's just very sad that we picked a guy off waivers and he goes straight to our #1 line. Not to slight the point about how bad our roster is, but quite a few people are wondering why Ottawa couldn't trade Conacher. They gave up a decent asset in Bishop for him, and he didn't fit well in OTT, but many are still surprised Conacher couldn't attract more interest. Now, as for D'Agostini, Omark, Konopka... Quote
