nfreeman Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 I didn't love it, but I liked it quite a bit. I'd say it was better than "Boardwalk Empire" but not as good as "Game of Thrones." Definitely worth watching if you like cop shows. Quote

I like all of those shows……..Game of Thrones will peak this year, this season should be fantastic…….But books 4 and 5 will be much harder to turn into really good TV…….That being said, Season 1 of True Detective will be the best season of the show, with a total change of story and actors/Characters it will be hard to come close to that quality………First Cop show/ murder mystery show since the Wire that is top notch. DR HOLLIDAY Posted March 11, 2014 Author Report Posted March 11, 2014 Along the shore the cloud waves break, The twin suns sink behind the lake, The shadows lengthen In Carcosa. Strange is the night where black stars rise, And strange moons circle through the skies, But stranger still is Lost Carcosa. Songs that the Hyades shall sing, Where flap the tatters of the King, Must die unheard in Dim Carcosa. Song of my soul, my voice is dead, Die thou, unsung, as tears unshed Shall dry and die in Lost Carcosa. —"Cassilda's Song" in The King in Yellow Act 1, Scene 2 Quote
