Sabres Fan in NS Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Great job, as usual, 26CB. For the lineups do just stick in names? Just wondering since Rudy was just called up and you have on the first D pairing with The Hoff. Quote

Just wondering since Rudy was just called up and you have on the first D pairing with The Hoff. Thanks SFNS. It's educated guesses for the line combinations and defense pairings until info is received from trusted sources that see the morning skates and Nolan's pregame presser. @BuffaloSabres Conacher: It's nice to have family nearby & all the support. Looking forward to his start with the #Sabres. @BuffaloSabres .@conhockey19: "I want to play for this team for a long time." He says there's always teams you want to play for; this is it for him #Sabres @BuffaloSabres Having gone to Canisius, Conacher says he's very familiar with #Sabres, has been to a lot of games. Hopes he fits right in. @BNHarrington Conacher said he chose 88 sted 89 out of deference to Mogilny -- and that he texted with Kane about taking 88. Edited March 9, 2014 by 26CornerBlitz Quote

Refreshing to hear a player genuinely excited to play in Buffalo, and that sucks about the 3 injuries. Hopefully no more than 1 week for each of them. Quote
26CornerBlitz Posted March 9, 2014 Author Report Posted March 9, 2014 Not surprised to see this: @BNHarrington Nolan said Mitchell and Girgensons would return before Stewart. #Sabres Quote

... Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 (edited) I do not want this to turn out badly, however, this game here will be Enroth's first test in a while as a starter. Edited March 9, 2014 by sizzlemeister Quote
26CornerBlitz Posted March 9, 2014 Author Report Posted March 9, 2014 @BNHarrington Kane on Conacher: "I kind of had a sense..that Buffalo was going to pick him up. He had a good career at Canisius and I'm rooting for him." Kane on Conacher II: I skate w/him in the summer and he skates like he thinks it's a Stanley Cup final game. He's a pretty competitive kid." Robviously Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 I do not want this to turn out badly, however, this game here will be Enroth's first test in a while as a starter. ????? He faced 39 shots against Dallas and 44 against Tampa Bay. If those aren't tests, I'm not sure what is. Quote
