Iron Crotch Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 (edited) I've seen enough of Luke Adam to know he has no future on this team. Edited March 8, 2014 by Potato Quote
... Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 Odds of tying this up with 56.9 left to go? Quote
LastPommerFan Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 Two observations: Zemgus Girgensons is the entire team. Somebody needs to explain to the new guy that 40 saves isn't enough for this team. Quote
Brawndo Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 And the Sabres are the only team in the NHL without a shutout this season Quote
Jsixspd Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 Luongo with a shut out in his first game as a Panther. Impressive! Quote
Tondas Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 Not enough horses to generate any horsepower to win. Quote
deluca67 Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 Two observations: Zemgus Girgensons is the entire team. Somebody needs to explain to the new guy that 40 saves isn't enough for this team. People have been worried for a long time about the goaltending if Miller ever left. IMO, the Sabres have a couple of 25 year old net minders they can go forward with. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 A minor, a major, a penalty shot and a game misconduct. Is that a Kerry Fraser hat trick? Quote
Iron Crotch Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 Not enough horses to generate any horsepower to win. We're a weak offensive team anyway, and without Girgs, Stewart, and Foligno that sure didn't help. Glad the team gave Deslauriers his first NHL game. That was a nice move. Quote

Iron Crotch Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 We played like mating flatworms tonight. Quote

Nitro60 Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 I just got home and reading the posts on this page I am glad I missed the game. Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 Thank you for that insight Potato. Quote
Brawndo Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 Paul Hamilton @pham1717 1m Nolan said Sulzer out one to two weeks. They'll likely call somebody up. Quote
darksabre Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 A minor, a major, a penalty shot and a game misconduct. Is that a Kerry Fraser hat trick? Quote
IKnowPhysics Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 VICTORY! Big credit to the secret weapon: Attack Zebras. Quote
... Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 You forgot this feline interpretation of the Sabres' play tonight: Quote
Robviously Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 I was pleasantly surprised by Deslauriers tonight. He's only listed at 6' but he looked huge out there. He finished some nice hits and wasn't afraid to shoot the puck. No idea if he'll actually be a good NHL player but I won't mind if he's a Sabre next season. Neuvirth looked very good. Is there some rule on this team that we absolutely, positively do not want to score goals when our backup goalie is in net? I really liked Bjugstad tonight for Florida. He was flying. Quote
Andrew Amerk Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 I wish McBain's name was Rico. That'd be much cooler than Jamie. His name is Rainier Wolfcastle. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 Not a lot in the GDT tonight.... I'm out of town and was collecting my winnings at four winds casino just outside of South bend, they only had St cloud hockey on in there.....I am glad we kept the tank strong, but sounded like the stripes were biased in this one.... This team is really really bad on paper like literally AHL bad, let's hope shannigans doesn't strike the iron fist down on sir Marcus Quote
