dEnnis the Menace Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Wow -- McNabb dressed for the Kings' opener last night and had over 23 minutes -- 2nd-most on the team. impressive. I always liked the kid. Quote
pastajoe Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 McNabb played because one of the regulars was hurt. I still prefer the guys we got back in the trade. The Sabres have plenty of D, they needed some power forwards. Quote

Hoss Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) That breakaway from Wingle? Yea that one. I just heard the announcers talking about it saying he was out of position. Just watch it again and he wasn't out of position as much as he was just lazy. Seemed to just expect Doughty to make the play. Other than that I didn't see any big problems with McNabb. Pulling for him. Edited October 9, 2014 by Tankalicious Quote
qwksndmonster Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 I didn't see the goal that he messed up on, but he just seemed like a better Weber to me: physical, but not great at winning possession. Serviceable with a guy like Doughty, but at this point should be 3rd pairing if he's starting at all. Quote

Bob Malooga Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 McNabb played because one of the regulars was hurt. I still prefer the guys we got back in the trade. The Sabres have plenty of D, they needed some power forwards. I expected him to make the lineup when Willie Mitchell was let go, but did not expect him to play so much, so soon. However, I have to agree here...I REALLY like Hudson Fasching, and I think just getting him back for McNabb would have been satisfying. I expect Hudson Fasching to dominate the college scene this year, most likely getting his contract next summer. Quote
