darksabre Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 Their top three forwards are not very big or physical at all. Neither is their top defenseman. I love the Conachaer pick up. I think he might be a nice part of our rebuilding Hossa is big, Toews is big, Shaw is big, Sharp is big, and Patrick Kane's size doesn't matter. Not sure where you're getting this from. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 Bigger maybe, but not hulking forwards at all, Hossa maybe. Brad Marchant gets along fine at about the same size Quote
Jsixspd Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 But I was always told size doesn't matter ....... Quote
MattPie Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 Conacher, I fear, might be Gerbe 2.0. He's small, hustles, but doesn't put the puck in the net enough to be a better option than a bigger player. I'd say a hockey team has room for one small guy that scores goals, maybe two if they're both really good. We already have Ennis, Conacher needs to put in 20+ or be replaced by someone 6' 200+. Ideally, replaced with someone 6' 200+ that scores 20+. :) Quote
