qwksndmonster Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 If the Blues win the Cup, we get a first round pick and the chances of us signing Ott in the offseason go up. Heck, Miller might even come back if the Blues win a cup ;) Quote
darksabre Posted March 8, 2014 Author Report Posted March 8, 2014 Miller having an outstanding game so far against Colorado. A couple huge point blank saves on defensive breakdowns. Quote

Brawndo Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 How are you watching? Center Ice Package for me Quote
Brawndo Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 Miller just had his first career win against The Colorado Avs Quote
Hoss Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 Firstrowsports is center ice, Sunday ticket, extra innings, league pass and then some... ALL FREE. And in low def, but I'd rather have low def on my computer than a low balance on my bank account. Quote
Jsixspd Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Just got done watching the Blues game time-shifted. Ryan Miller had an outstanding game today. This was a big game - divisional rivals, only 3 points separating them going in. Outstanding game play by both teams. Miller made a real difference - couple tremendous saves. Center Ice had the Colorado broadcast - but they showed an interesting stat - so far for the Blues, Ryan has averaged 22 shots faced per game vs 35 with Buffalo this season. And the Sabres averaging 1.90 goals per game in support, vs 3.30 for the Blues. Big difference in the teams right there. I hope Ryan can get a chance at the Cup. I'm happy for both him and Otter. But it is a little depressing - when watching two high quality teams like this going at it - you realize how far the Sabres are from competing at this level. Thanks, Darcy! Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 4 games in a week for Miller? Uh Oh.....at least he got the Olympics off for the most part, but they better ease up. Quote

Hoss Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Maybe we should start a Wild thread... They have four former Sabres (well one was drafted here but never played). Quote
Weave Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 We should find a 4th thread to post about Klesla in while we are at it. Quote
Hoss Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 We should find a 4th thread to post about Klesla in while we are at it. Only if he joins the Blues or Wild. Quote
Eleven Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Maybe we should start a Wild thread... They have four former Sabres (well one was drafted here but never played). As soon as the Sabres' fortune depends on the success of the Wild, we will. Quote
Hoss Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 It seems as though some think my comment was an insult or complaint. It wasn't. I love that we have a thread for the Blues to discuss Miller and the Blues. Was just noting that the Wild have four former Sabres, as well. Quote

But we don't have the pleasure of watching the Wild play for a first-rounder. (Or, in my case, maybe it's because I've got a really close friend in St. Paul who just lets me know regardless.) Quote

Eleven Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Technically we could watch the Wild and root for them to lose since we have their second rounder. ;) I have limited time to watch hockey. Two teams are enough! Quote
North Buffalo Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Technically we could watch the Wild and root for them to lose since we have their second rounder. ;) So start a thread... you are in charge... Quote
Huckleberry Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 I don't recall seeing Ryan so relaxed for a post game interview. Ya think it's starting to sink that he won the lottery? Good for him and Otter. Really, really hope they get rid of Roy. He has got to go! :censored: I may not have the same sentiments about Roy than most of you, but on a good team and he is your 3rd line center, you don't get rid of him. Quote
wjag Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 The Blues have all the pieces to win it. Watching their last few games, you can't help but like their team. Quote
26CornerBlitz Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 @BrianWGR Since I feel like I'm "covering" two teams now.... Enroth in goal for #Sabres tonight. #Blues will rest Miller. Elliott plays today. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 I still wonder if the Blues' achilles heel is lack of high end offensive skill. They play great as a team, but there may come a time in the playoffs when they wish they had a Kane-level offensive player. Quote

He obviously likes the big stage and lights Steen could also get hot again. Edited March 9, 2014 by wjag Quote

Remember when the Predators underwhelmed in the playoffs because they couldn't score? That's my fear for the Blues. Quote
