shrader Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 Or LaFontaine is mentioned because he is the face of the organization. It's like saying Manning and the broncos head to NYC for the Super Bowl. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 Maybe they are dumping their regular catering service for a new one? And maybe they are doing it to launder money out of the country to a top player to convince them to sign in Buffalo! Makes you think... Quote
Stoner Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 I just saw Bob McKenzie running into a phone booth in Toronto! Quote
Robviously Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 BTW, if this is PLF walking away, we're officially the most dysfunctional we've ever been. Which is actually astonishing given all the hope we had when Pegula took over 3 years ago. Quote
Brawndo Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 Maybe Murray does not want Nolan kept and PLF is leaving as a result? Quote
Hoss Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 If PLF quits I will personally break into FNC and tear down his number and then post a video of myself burning it. Still early so I won't buy the lighter fluid yet. Quote

Stoner Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 Man, this is juicy. What a great time for TSC. Quote
wjag Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 I would hope someone quit over yesterday's massacre. Not everyone could have been on board with that. That substantially alterred the direction and future of the franchise. Quote
Robviously Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 Maybe Murray does not want Nolan kept and PLF is leaving as a result? If we're just going to speculate wildly, I'll admit that this occurred to me too. That "interim" tag has been an elephant in the room. Another reason why completely changing your leadership mid-season, picking a new coach, and THEN picking a new GM was a really F'ed up way to do things. Quote

What, held out for more when you know both players could just walk away at end of season? This was a no brainer trade Quote
dudacek Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 This better just be a pice of Twitter-pated nothing. Quote

No. Hiring an INTERIM coach and saying the future GM has the ability to decide on the coaches future. Then fighting for that interim coach is the F'ed up way to do things. This is all speculation but if this over Nolan then PLF needs to get out. It's an interim coach, let the GM do his job. Jsixspd Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 I hope this is just rumors - last thing the team needs is PLF, or Ted or Murray, to leave. Jeebus! Quote
Brawndo Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 Mike Harrington @BNHarrington 39s There has been no response to an inquiry to the #Sabres media relations dept as well. And that's highly unusual. Quote

It would make absolutely no sense. LaFontaone just hired Murray how could he already have friction with him? Quote
Stoner Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 It would make absolutely no sense. LaFontaone just hired Murray how could he already have friction with him? It's not a credible Twitter account. I know, because I clicked on it. Quote
nobody Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 It would make absolutely no sense. LaFontaone just hired Murray how could he already have friction with him? Right - if Patty didn't like what Timmy just did he would just fire him rather than quitting. Quote
dudacek Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 Pat and Tim and Ted told Ryan and Steve about the trade. Tim has been carefully talking up "us" as the decision-makers and appears likely to move ahead with Ted. Pat has been careful to say the GM would make the call on Murray Only way I can see Patty walking away is a health-realted thing, or Pegula is twice the meddler PA suspects. Quote
shrader Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 It's not a credible Twitter account. I know, because I clicked on it. That much was obvious from the nonsensical reason provided in the earlier post. Quote
