Hoss Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 Last time out was a weird one that San Jose should've won. A part of me wants Miller to go out with a win, but I don't think it'll happen. Hopefully it's a good effort, though. 4-2 Sharks after they pad it with a late empty netter. Quote
X. Benedict Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 I wonder if the Talking Heads "Burning Down the House" is playing in the locker room tonight. Quote
26CornerBlitz Posted February 28, 2014 Author Report Posted February 28, 2014 This is no longer the D Zone coverage that the Sabres use: It was scrapped once Nolan arrived. :) Quote
Eleven Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 Those of you who are going--please start some Ryan Miller chants. The guy deserves a fond farewell. Quote
Jsixspd Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 Is he actually going though? Many thought if a trade was in the works, he would not be starting tonight. Quote

CallawaySabres Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 Those of you who are going--please start some Ryan Miller chants. The guy deserves a fond farewell. My 6 year old will be leading the charge on that one. He made a sign that says #30 stay 4 the and then a big picture of the Cup he drew. He still think there is a chance he stays because of the sign, bless his heart. Quote
inkman Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 This is no longer the D Zone coverage that the Sabres use: It was scrapped once Nolan arrived. :) It really sums up the season, atleast the Ron Ron part of it. Holy good God what were they doing? Quote
Eleven Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 Flying bobsled formation, ink. It's a classic USA development program technique. Quote
X. Benedict Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 This is no longer the D Zone coverage that the Sabres use: I just heard a blood vessel in my brain pop when I looked at this. Quote
bunomatic Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 I just heard a blood vessel in my brain pop when I looked at this. That would explain those eyes  Not sure the boys can win this one. Not sure if I want them to. Adding giant killer to the resume has a nice ring to it and the way they've been playing I wouldn't be surprised but I'm not confident on this one. Anyhoo, GO SABRES ! Quote
spndnchz Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 This is no longer the D Zone coverage that the Sabres use: It was scrapped once Nolan arrived. :) While not this bad, I still see players doubling up on the opponent at the wrong times. Along the boards sure but 2 guys following a player into the corner and leave that guy open high slot is still happening. Quote
spndnchz Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 Hey! Gilbert and Robert at practice this morning. Quote
darksabre Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 Hey! Gilbert and Robert at practice this morning. Skating? Which line? Quote
spndnchz Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 Last time, Millsie, will play a home game, in Buffalo, on his wife's birthday. Skating? Which line? Talking with Ted. Quote

26CornerBlitz Posted February 28, 2014 Author Report Posted February 28, 2014 @BuffaloSabres Nolan: Ennis is pretty close but not close enough to play tonight. Still day-to-day. #Sabres @BuffaloSabres Konopka will play, Nolan says. Scott will likely sit. #Sabres Quote
Eleven Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 I forgot Konopka was on the team. Quote
26CornerBlitz Posted February 28, 2014 Author Report Posted February 28, 2014 One more time! @BuffaloSabres Miller starts tonight for the #Sabres, Nolan confirms. Quote
Derrico Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 You would think the Sabres are not very close to a trade with him starting tonight. I guess that one is going to go right down to the deadline. Quote
