Taro T Posted February 26, 2014 Report Posted February 26, 2014 I was trying to post the following and it'd disappeared. I typically avoid chains to every extent possible, but we had a good meal at Bostons last year. Service and atmosphere were good too (Sabres were on). Convenient to 90 too. http://www.bostons.com/ The EXACT same thing could be said for the one in Rapid City as well. Quote

I appreciate the info from all - time to go hire my old boss to work for me - who woulda thunk it! Quote

Claude_Verret Posted February 26, 2014 Report Posted February 26, 2014 I was in Rapid City last summer on vacation, it's actually a pretty cool town....... in the middle of nowhere. Quote

Claude_Verret Posted February 26, 2014 Report Posted February 26, 2014 On your way to Sturgis or Mt. Rushmore? We stayed in Rapid City as our home base for three days while we visited Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood, Sturgis and other places. It really did exceed my expectations. If anyone watches Full Throttle Saloon I had a pretty good "celebrity" encounter with Fajita Mike in Sturgis. Quote

There's quite a bit w/in a couple of hours of there. If you haven't already, check out the badlands if you're out that way again. Absolutely amazing terrain and you have to feel for the settlers in their wagon trains that came across a canyon that stretches as far as the eye can see right out of flat prairie land. Quote
