3putt Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 Datsyuk is a great player...love watching him. Quote
Eleven Posted February 15, 2014 Author Report Posted February 15, 2014 Well, if Miller has the "WTF wave," Quick has the "WTF just happened?" glance at the scoreboard. Tough save to make. Quote
3putt Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 He does the same thing on na rinks Quote
G-Daddy Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 (edited) High glove side, miller would not have stopped that either. Edited February 15, 2014 by DGW54321 Quote
Eleven Posted February 15, 2014 Author Report Posted February 15, 2014 High glove side, miller would not have stopped that either. Maybe not, but I'll take him on a breakaway over any other goalie in the league. He's not the best ever in shootouts for nothing. Quote
SwampD Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 The Russians are playing like the KGB has their families in lockup until they get the win. Quote
wjag Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 Datsyuk is a great player...love watching him. He is playing well for someone who hasn't played in essentially a month. I know there was some angst in Detroit for him sitting out all those games and then miraculously got well just in time for the Olympics to start. He was killing two of my fantasy hockey teams this year. Quote
Eleven Posted February 15, 2014 Author Report Posted February 15, 2014 The Russians are playing like the KGB has their families in lockup until they get the win. Are you suggesting that's not the case? Quote
G-Daddy Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 Maybe not, but I'll take him on a breakaway over any other goalie in the league. He's not the best ever in shootouts for nothing. Agreed. Just saw Ruff, looked bored out of his mind there. Quote
wjag Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 The Russians are playing like the KGB has their families in lockup until they get the win. It hasn't been called the KGB since 1995.. It is now the FSB. Quote
Jeanbe Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 Nice goal. I'm enjoying this game. Quote
SwampD Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 It hasn't been called the KGB since 1995.. It is now the FSB. I know, but KGB sounds scarier. How did he not score there. YES!!!! Quote

Claude_Verret Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 Nice. Bonehead penalty by Radulov and made them pay. Quote
wjag Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 For all the ice available, there aren't a lot of pretty rushes in this game. Russia seems more comfortable with the ice size than the Americans. Quote
3putt Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 Interesting call based on what they have let go Quote
SwampD Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 For all the ice available, there aren't a lot of pretty rushes in this game. Russia seems more comfortable with the ice size than the Americans. I just don't see the ice size as being that much of a factor. I think as a Sabres fan, you're just not used to seeing guys collecting passes in the open without someone on top of them. It happens all the time in other NHL games. Quote
3putt Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 The USA needs to finish more checks in the neutral zone. They are letting Russia stand up on the boards without paying for it. Quote
Rico7 Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 I don't care how this day started (and it was bad), Bloody Marys and live hockey, life is good. Sounds good. Thinking about cracking a beer for the third. Quote
