There is too much ice out there

You know, I'm starting to come 'round to this way of thinking.

I'm not a fan of the white helmets over dark blue sweaters.

I am too. Great players in space is entertaining.

Bs call.

Ok. So last night, I dreamt that both teams changed goalies with approximately 6 minutes left in the second period. Let's see if that happens. I'll bet not.

Not me.. I think it marginalizes the defense.

I like the extra ice in the neutral zone (can't trap!) but it's too much at the ends of the rink.

Those wishing for Quick to be dispatched, umm, quickly, are going to be disappointed.

I feel a lot more confident with Quick in net, but Miller is our Miller haha. I just want to US to get the gold this time around.

I think it requires better skating defensemen and centers that back check. The Russians are backchecking well.

I'd actually be more confident with Miller in there, but only slightly. It's a tough choice.

I don't think there's a chance that the US wins gold. Hope I'm wrong.

I like the big surface too. Love watching the skill it allows.

To each his own. I'm watching a team game, not an individual skills competition.

The USA needs to leverage their speed. Dump and chase wont work with the Russian d playing so far inside their line. They need to use the open ice on the sides to generate speed races that I think we can win.

You just turned poor Jeanbe into a man!

I don't think we have the speed to keep up w/ Russia, outside of Kane and maybe a couple of others.

Dont worry you'll get your game back next week and as a bonus we will get to hear Milbury tell us how much our team sucks. Lol.

They also need to start using those live endboards more.

That was some intense hockey. The skill on even the missed passes was impressive. Maybe put Kane, Kessel and a Reimsdyk together for a shift. That would be fast enough. Still heckuv a game.

On the pp to start.

That was a rough lookin power play.

There is some great hitting going on. I don't think the big ice marginalizes the D at all. I just think they have to be more skilled and not just tackle someone.

Quick keeps sliding out of position because he is so agressive. Fortunate Russia hit the post twice.

He definitely is leaving some BIG open spaces to shoot at right now. Even after the power play.
