Iron Crotch Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 Rudy's projected to play with Weber tonight Say your last goodbyes to having a positive +/-. Good-luck.. ......You'll need it Oh, ######... Rudy is DOOMED! He'll be a -3 tonight. I love Rudy as a young player, but he needs to play much bigger. I have seen him get absolutely leveled more than a couple times. No way that kid weighs more than about 170 lbs. He's like our very own Rudy Ruettiger, except I doubt Sean Astin will play him in a movie. Quote
IKnowPhysics Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 Rudy and Weber are the treads on the tank. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 Rudy had that play last night where he checked Malkin. That was cool. I imagine that when you make it to the show (this is Rudy's 2nd time, but still), it must be such a shot of adrenaline to look up and realize the guy you're boxing out is one of the best in the world. I was talking to an ECHL player at a drop-in game a while back and I asked him who the best player he ever played against was. The answer was Crosby, in juniors. He said that he tried to hit him as hard as he could and that Crosby didn't even move. Quote
26CornerBlitz Posted February 6, 2014 Author Report Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) Back to Weber and McBain being paired again. @pham1717 No skate today except for Miller working with Jim Corsi. I have heard that Myers won't play again tonight. Edited February 6, 2014 by 26CornerBlitz Quote
MDFan Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 I am really trying to care, but I just cannot. I am being run over by the tank Quote
26CornerBlitz Posted February 6, 2014 Author Report Posted February 6, 2014 @BuffaloSabres Nolan: Leino & Konopka in. Foligno and Omark out. No Myers tonight. Enroth to start. #sabres -CR Quote
Doohicksie Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 I figured Myers was out till the break. Quote

Arguably 1 NHL line and 1 NHL defense-man with a 13 straight start win-less goalie. It's like drawing 7-2 hole cards again and again. Quote
Stoner Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 (edited) First "no, you're right" in Rob Ray History!!!! Earliest, I mean to say. Edited February 7, 2014 by PASabreFan Quote
SarasotaSabre Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 looks like the anti-shut down pair of McPain & Weber again - 2 pylons together ?? Quote
BuffaloBorn Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 two tank commander candidates on the same line? This is too much Quote
Norcal Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 (edited) Even though Ottawa is having a much better season than the Sabres it's been a pretty tight series to this point. Edited February 7, 2014 by Bills12Sabres11 Quote
Nitro60 Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 Lame penalty call. Such is the fate of a crappy hockey team. Quote
Norcal Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 Funny the ref right in front of the tripping penalty missed it, derr Quote

Tondas Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 Center Ice has this game only in low definition. In this day and age, nothing should be in low-def. If the Sabres were good, I'd be pissed. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 The quality of NHL refereeing is just awful lately... they'll make phantom calls all day then let absolute muggings go. It's like the calls are just made randomly... Quote
kishoph Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 It's a little easier to kill penalties when your allowed to mug the team on the power play. Quote
