Norcal
Chance to watch some future Sabres?
CallawaySabres
A loss to the 2nd worst team at home sandwiched by 7-1 and 5-1 losses. This is even worse than than watching Kelly Holcomb lead your NFL team.
Derrico
So I would assume Miller is going again tonight right?
BuffaloBorn
How is Chad Ruhwedel a +3 on this team?? I mean he's playing with Erhoff but damn. That's like a high score for this season.
Johnny DangerFace
I love Rudy as a young player, but he needs to play much bigger. I have seen him get absolutely leveled more than a couple times.
Robviously
So I would assume Miller is going again tonight right? Probably, but he shouldn't. How does that help us if we're trying to trade him tomorrow? Just give Enroth the start and play it safe. Of course, the Sabres generally do stupid things so..... 26CornerBlitz
@BuffaloSabres No morning skate for the #Sabres today in Ottawa. We'll speak with interim coach Ted Nolan later this afternoon. Puck drops at 7:30 p.m. -CR
G-Daddy
Wondering why Ted still has the interim tag after reports a few weeks ago that it was close to coming off.

Just an fyi, I heard it mentioned during last night's game that Miller had asked TN to allow him the option of playing tonight if he so chooses. I think Miller wants to use tonight's game as a final tune-up for Sochi if he feels it necessary.

That's interesting, but I want Nolan and Murray making decisions that put the Sabres first, not Ryan Miller. I don't want "Ryan wanted to" to be a factor in their decisions at all. 26CornerBlitz
@SunGarrioch Anderson will start. Chris Phillips likely won't return until after Olympic break. Mark Stone has been sent back to Binghamton. #Sens

Not sure why Nolan is such a Miller apologist, regardless of the level of team in front of him last night Miller let in a couple soft goals. Hoss
John Vogl @BuffNewsVogl 14m There is only one Sabres player on the ice in Ottawa: Ryan Miller. The goalie is working with coach Jim Corsi, getting game ready for Sochi.

Just give Enroth the start and play it safe. Of course, the Sabres generally do stupid things so..... I'm thinking that letting up less than a 5 spot may not help his trade value. He let up a bunch against Colorado recently and now 5 to Pitt. Those are good teams but if he can pull out a 1 goal against that may help any trade potential. Of course you are right in there is the risk of injury.

Of course you are right in there is the risk of injury. If their are worried about the risk of injury, he should have been moved at the first offer being brought up to them. You can't wrap him up in bubble wrap and hope he doesn't get injured while waiting for someone to make a deal for him. If anything, sitting him til someone makes you an offer for him isn't going to help his trade value at all and will probably have the opposite effect and lower the offers you will get for him. Hoss
This has become a situation where a situation has been dragged on way too long and impatience/anticipation has turned some fans against the player.

X. Benedict
Wondering why Ted still has the interim tag after reports a few weeks ago that it was close to coming off. I wonder too... It is such a bad team it is hard to tell what difference, if any, coaching has made beyond a bit more hustle.
