apuszczalowski Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 If he does accept he doesn't have much to work with next year. But in a couple of years he will. Yes it will be another down year next year but with all the picks and Murray picking I think the future will be bright When his current contract is up and Murray can replace him with his own guy Quote
LGR4GM Posted March 5, 2014 Author Report Posted March 5, 2014 After seeing how Murray handled the deadline and seeing some of his quotes on twitter... 3-5 years is the timeline... this is gonna suck. Quote
apuszczalowski Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 Stamkos Stamkos as a FA changed teams and passed up other offers to go to a smaller market team?He may have said he prefers smaller markets, but I don't think he passed up other offers to go to Tampa, IIRC they drafted him. Also a nice warm weather place like Tampa can be reason enough to attract some....... Quote

darksabre Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 I'm looking forward to this rebuild. There's going to be a lot of youth on this team in the next few years. They might not win a lot but at least it wont be the status quo. Quote

Kelly the Dog Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 He just said 3-4 years. I think he was referring to "3-4 years" before you see if Fasching is going to be a top six very good winger in the NHL. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 Anybody have a list of the Sabres draft picks in the next two years? I'm trying to make a list and I know it's not right. Quote
LGR4GM Posted March 5, 2014 Author Report Posted March 5, 2014 (edited) I think he was referring to "3-4 years" before you see if Fasching is going to be a top six very good winger in the NHL. that is also probably correct. Fasching will probably stay the course at Minn. and become in Amerk in 3 years and then we shall see what we have. Longer term project with a very high ceiling. Anybody have a list of the Sabres draft picks in the next two years? I'm trying to make a list and I know it's not right. http://www.prosports...ture/Sabres.htm I post the link because the picks are complicated with all the conditional stuff. apuszczalowski Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 So what teams didn't make any moves this deadline? Only one I can think of was the Leafs, their last move was New Years day Liles for Gleason Quote
