... Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 Teams "close" trades with a joint phone call to league HQ, and that phone call can take place after 3. I'm not sure what has to happen before 3 in order for the phone call after 3 to be allowed, though. I'm sure that's what is blacked out in the War Room pictures, a back-end site for intra-league business, including transactions. Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 (edited) Chris Botta @ChrisBottaNHL Trades still being called in to NHL offices. I believe a Vanek deal will be one of them. Daren Millard @darenmillard Final countdown Vanek. Moulson. Kesler. Still taded Does he mean they've all been traded? I would laugh if Vanek stays and then walks. Islanders in bottom 5 with Vanek should be worse without him Edited March 5, 2014 by SabresBillsFan Quote
Hoss Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 If Anaheim just traded away Penner and got nothing back then they've made a HUGE mistake. Best team in the league just made a really dumb move. Quote
LGR4GM Posted March 5, 2014 Author Report Posted March 5, 2014 And Trade Freeze! Expect several trades to be announced in the next 10-20minutes Quote

Doohicksie Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 GMTM. You are currently in the red failure zone. If he's stuck with Moulson but then signs him, I'm okay with that. Quote
26CornerBlitz Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 GMTM. You are currently in the red failure zone. There will be lots of deals announced after 3 PM because of the trade call backup. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 Raphael Diaz? I thought he was a soccer player... Quote
Trettioåtta Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 If he's stuck with Moulson but then signs him, I'm okay with that. If He also got Halak and Stewart to flip them. I was hoping for more of a statement move. Let's hope he had all the trades lined up :/ Quote
Hoss Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC Hard to pin down...but think there is something between Calgary and Colorado...hard to tell what it is or how big Quote
dEnnis the Menace Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 GAH! been stuck in meetings/audit all day. First chance to really read (i've taken a couple of quick glances) to see what's been going down. Kind of disappointing/quiet trade day on Sabres front. had higher expectations we'll see what shows up in the next 30 Quote

This must be done before 3PM Details aren't needed before 3PM Quote

Let's hope he had all the trades lined up :/ Stewart is a good player. I watched him a lot when I was living out in Colorado. He has another year left on his contract. My guess is we'd get next to nothing back for Halak, so maybe keep him around and try to resign him? Quote
