Kristian Posted March 23, 2014 Report Posted March 23, 2014 (edited) At least Clarkson *looks* like he means business in that mug-shot. Leino looks like he just came off the set of a "Laurel & Hardy" movie :wallbash: :w00t: Edited March 23, 2014 by Kristian Quote
kishoph Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 (edited) Looks like Ville finally scored. Maybe that's how he got an upper body injury. Edited March 28, 2014 by kishoph Quote
Eleven Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 I think I would just bench him for the rest of the season, even if it meant playing with 19 on any given night. Quote

wjag Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 Ville logged 58 seconds of game time before departing after feeling "light headed".. Sheesh.. The gift that keeps on giving. Quote

dudacek Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 So it looks like he's back after dizziness/migraines/difficulty focusing.... I seriously wonder if he is dealing with depression issues. Quote

Marvelo Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 how about sending Leino down to the farm? he deserves it. Quote

It seems to me, this may be the case, though of course we're no doctors, nor close friends. Still troubling to imagine. I bet getting paid like 10 million plus dollars this off season will perk his spirits up..... Not everyone worships money...sometimes the poorest in spirit are the richest in wealth. Sabres’ Ville Leino OK after ‘scary’ migraine The odd ailment Ville Leino experienced last week was “a type of migraine,” the Sabres forward said today. “Your eyes are on a delay and your mind or face or feelings come a little late,” Leino said after returning to practice inside the First Niagara Center. I should have his affliction. Maybe I could pay my bills at least. So it looks like he's back after dizziness/migraines/difficulty focusing.... I seriously wonder if he is dealing with depression issues. Sounds perceptive to me about the depression. A player in his situation has got to be very unhappy. He's got to be sorry he ever agreed to Pegula's offer. Quote

Rasmus_ Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 (edited) Yeah that's a comparable nightmare, but still..you have two amnesty buy-out's. You have to use one on Leino. Regardless of the comparison to another cluster f*** situation. He has no future here and needs to move on. I could see him going back to Philly cheap....or even Detroit. Hoss Posted April 3, 2014 Report Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) http://insider.espn....ue&refresh=true Auditing top buyout candidates Those who have no hope Ville Leino | F | Buffalo Sabres This contract never should have been signed by Buffalo. Back in December, it was advocated the Sabres buy out the contract, and that is even more appropriate now. This is the case despite Leino being moved up and down the lineup in an attempt to get him some chemistry (and some production as a result). That has included stints with Tyler Ennis and Steve Ott. Cody Hodgson and Ott. Matt D'Agostini and Ott. Ennis and Drew Stafford. Ott and Stafford. And Ott and Marcus Foligno. But nothing has worked, and zero goals in 53 games show things are getting worse, not better. Edited April 3, 2014 by Tankalicious Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 Trending Buffalo @TrendingBuffalo And we have a #LeinoLotto winner! Congrats to @krystinhoppel who is now $1,000 richer because Ville Leino is terrible at hockey. bahahahaha this amused me Quote
Jsixspd Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 That was too funny! I was actually worried Leino was gonna score in that flurry of play in the 3rd period yesterday, and spoil his perfect record Quote
dEnnis the Menace Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 I was told by an insider (I won't say who to protect them) that I should not be surprised to see Leino stay for next season, and that there may be a few surprise moves (wouldn't tell me what yet). That's all I'm going to say on the matter but I didn't want a bunch of you to be uber shocked. Quote
