Wyldnwoody44 Posted February 20, 2014 Author Report Posted February 20, 2014 I'm shocked he wasn't picked to play for the Finnish team, why let that skill go to waste Quote
josie Posted February 20, 2014 Report Posted February 20, 2014 And to quote Gallagher, ' That watermelon had it coming .' I hope the Jamaican bobsled team stayed out of his way. (hint- look at their helmets from this year) Quote
bunomatic Posted February 20, 2014 Report Posted February 20, 2014 I hope the Jamaican bobsled team stayed out of his way. (hint- look at their helmets from this year) I haven't seen them but I'm guessing they look like melons ? I'll google it. Quote
spndnchz Posted February 20, 2014 Report Posted February 20, 2014 Especially Leino. I thought he was The Joke? Quote
That Aud Smell Posted February 20, 2014 Report Posted February 20, 2014 anything can be joked about, sure -- but the jokes need to be clever, funny if they're going to bear up under the weight of heavy material (e.g., someone being depressed). the 'wah-wah'response upthread fell well short of the mark. the more i think about it, the more i think it's not a case of depression, but his heart just not being in the game, like, at all. mom made him go to practice. he'd rather be practicing the piano. or the guitar (poorly). he doesn't love the game enough to play through adversity. Jsixspd Posted February 20, 2014 Report Posted February 20, 2014 The best cure for Leino's depression would be his very own personal Gunnery Sgt Hartman to help him man up, square his sorry ass away, and make him start @#$%ing tiffany cufflinks! He needs to see something like this every time he enters HSBC Arena! Quote

Jsixspd Posted February 20, 2014 Report Posted February 20, 2014 ^^^ ahahahaa!!!!!! Maybe it's good we use aliases and not our real names on teh interwebs? Quote
SwampD Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 We need to start a didvillescore.com site like they did for Gomez. I find it truly amazing that he hasn't scored yet this year and it looks like he won't ever score again. Quote

Jsixspd Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 ^^^Cues Beavis soundbyte - "We're never gonna score!!!!!!!!" Quote
Jsixspd Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Now I'm starting to feel sorry for him, kind of. That person who did the "Leave Brittney Alone!" video - needs to make a "Leave Ville Alone!" vid. Quote
dEnnis the Menace Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Now I'm starting to feel sorry for him, kind of. That person who did the "Leave Brittney Alone!" video - needs to make a "Leave Ville Alone!" vid. The amount of money he makes? He fleeced our favorite team (mind you a GM not many people had respect for) into possibly the worst contract in franchise history. He's making out like a bandit. I don't feel bad for him in the least bit Quote
Jsixspd Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Well, I was being a little bit facetious in that statement - LOL Those last couple games - he knocks down one of our best skaters - Ennis - twice, and then gets taken out by the linesman in front of the bench - that's indescribably bad right there - Quote

I wanted to reach thru the TV and punch him for the two hits on Ennis Quote
Jsixspd Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 We need a pool going on which of the remaining games Leino will score his first goal of the season. Seems like it has to happen, eventually. Quote
IKnowPhysics Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 Seems like it has to happen, eventually. I'll take the over. Quote
MattPie Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 I'm going to go big: he'll go on a tear and score 3. Quote
dEnnis the Menace Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 He'll be lucky to score 1 by the end of the year Quote
bcsaberks Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 Overheard in ROC yesterday "New Kodak CEO hired today. His salary $1,000,000 per year!" "Wow that's a lot of money" "Yeah Wow" "Hey wait. That's still 3 million less per year than Ville Leino!" Quote
Eleven Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 I am really hoping for a zero goal year for this bozo. Quote
Jsixspd Posted March 14, 2014 Report Posted March 14, 2014 There are 16 games left in the season. Even if he scored 5 or 6 goals in that span, I would find it hard to believe that would save his job for next season. And if it did, I'd kind of question GMTM's decision making. Quote
