As the trade deadline gets closer, there's a good chance not only some players will be leaving, but some new players will be coming in. Sometimes it helps having everything listed out and written (typed), to see what our strengths and weaknesses are. So I thought I would type things out and list our players.

Writing all this makes two things clear.

One, we have the potential to have an elite defensive core in just a few years. These young players who all have top 4/top pairing potential (Myers, Zadorov, Ristolainen, Pysyk, McCabe).

Two, We lack scoring talent and scoring potential. While Moulson (1st line) and Hodgson (2nd Line) are solid top 6 players. Ennis is a borderline 2nd line winger. That's really our top 6 forward talent. As far as prospects go, grigorenko and armia seem to be the only top of the line scoring talent.

You forgot to put a black /c/ next to Leino.

Ehrhoff is around for 7 more years too, unless you're thinking he'll be traded.
