They've been kinda mediocre for the last few years. And even when they were doing well they seemed overrated.

Late addition to that trade but apparently Isles also get C Matt Mangene from Philly, U. Maine product, 24, undrafted FA playing in AHL.

Trading Luongo is an interesting move given the Canucks are in the playoff hunt. But, Luongo hasn't been playing well, so it probably helps them.

They got Markstrom. Not sure if Vancouver is going to be buyers at this point.
