Sabres lead 2-0 after the second period, but then Miller comes out of the tunnel wearing Caps equipment after a mid-intermission trade. Sabres lose 4-2.

Was this supposed to be an NBC game? Sunday 3pm suggests that to me.

Why would NBC televise a hockey game on the Sunday of NFL divisional playoffs weekend? Wouldn't make any sense.

Whoever decided to schedule Sunday afternoon games, up against NFL playoff football, needs to rethink their strategy.

@BuffaloSabres

NOLAN: Hodgson and Leino looked "like they had some jump in their legs and [are] eager to play." Scott will be a healthy scratch today.

I like John Scott and I think he's been getting a raw deal from the NHL, but with Konopka on the roster, do the Sabres really have a need for him any longer ? Try to get something for him before the trade deadline, anything would be better than just letting him be a healthy scratch for the remainder of the season, or worse, putting him back in the line-up.
