Girgensons does play youthful abandon. He will learn soon to take care of himself. A vet on the team should take the young guy under his wing and educate him on the subtle nuances of NHL hockey.

 

Let me make one non-hockey point. It is hard to watch the Sabres play when everyone is play charades.

A shoulder right to the head of Enroth; the guy didn't even try avoid the collision.

 

What did he think was going to happen?

 

That was messed up.

With all the questionable ###### that was called in the 1st, no call on that hit on Enroth? The officiating has been undeniably pathetic and inconsistent the last 3-4 weeks.

Game plan now is to run the goalie. Sabres have to respond in kind. Be more up tempo and crash Winnipeg's net. Knock Montoya on his seat.

I hope our new GM picks up better players than LaFontaine did with D'Agostini and Omark. ;)
