I'm not sure the Sabres could have done much without pissing off a lot of people who planned their day around visiting families and then going to the game.

 

The solution: sports bar.

Yep. I'm here. I told my wife I didn't want to subject her to 7 hours of back to back sports so I'd take one for the team and hit the bar. What a guy!

Well this has been one of the most pathetic first period efforts in quite some time. Not sure I want to waste my time watching any more.

I've got Seattle on the T.V. and the Sabres on the laptop. One side of my brain wants to sleep and the other is entertained.

Wow, Foligno and Wilson spinning in a circle like a couple of star crossed ice dancers. Most exciting ten seconds in this game thus far. Glad he went after him, though.

Omark is starting to look like he belongs on this team.

 

...as in, he's an AHLer doing his best not to get noticed for the wrong reasons in the NHL. Positionally though he's better than he was in the first couple games. Maybe the Nolan Majick is working.

 

How come D'Augustini was out there with Moulson & Ennis? Is Girgensons okay?
