Sabres won 4 of the last 7. Finally playing as a unit. A lot of work still needs to be done but that team is fun to watch. The team that started the season is a distant past. These guys are playing with energy, physical, hustling and not quitting. We want more goals but they are growing on me.

The game was pretty ridiculous.... That goal was out of control, and they gutted one out with only 15 guys

 

 

I like Scott on the PP in front of the net

 

Yup. Amazing effort for a short bench and a fitting end for the way the refs have called the past two games. It's like the hockey gods are approving of the changes in Buffalo.

 

Scott in front of the net only makes sense, and he can hustle, too.

OH MAN! That was a bad pun. Fitting end to a game where 4 are out with intestinal flu and we win with a butt goal. Junior high kids are rolling on the floor in fits of laughter.

It's weird, the effect is visible, but exactly what's causing the effect is nebulous, other than to point out the change in personnel. They wouldn't play this way under Ruff, and definitely not under Rolston.

That's some great effort by this team especially down so many bodies. Scott on D = no one in front of Miller. I can live with that.

 

Insane.. back to wrapping I go.. and drinking. And being in disbelief that I just saw a goal like that scored.

 

Zemgus... unbelievable. I've never had a name on a jersey.. but just maybe this once?

Wow, that was one hell of a finish.

 

#puckinthepants = Goal of the Year?

 

Girgs seems to be turning into a future captain, all around player with a never say die attitude.

 

MEG line seemed to baffle the Coyotes in the 3rd.

 

Ennis looked very good all game, Moulson seemed to get moving much more once his linemates spurred him on.

 

Although NYI may have a slightly better record, I wonder if Vanek feels cheated by the new Sabres sheer willpower.

His line mates will get most of the attention, but I want to put in a plug for Moulson's play today.

Lots of effort and edge in his game.

Those three complement each other very well.
