Our PP is so bad tho that even as bad as that call was, it didn't take a sure goal away from us

 

I need to say it again, Ennis is useless. He has been for awhile. I wouldn't be sad to see him go.

I'm 5' 10" about 190 and I'm stronger on my skates than Ennis, he gets knocked around like a rag doll and can't finish.

Why is it that this team plays worse when they have a man advantage? I still have not figures that one out. This is one thing that Nolan and his staff need to fix ASAP.

For one they think that having Leino on the PP gives us some sort of advantage

Hate the Bruins. Love the "new" Sabres. They can compete with anyone and the games are fun to watch again.

We were in this.... Couldn't beat rask and our 1goal a pace game is back for the night.

 

Need a new PP coach ASAP, we have for years

 

Ott was bad tonight, tallinder was brutal

 

Omark was alright for a debut, Foligno was meh

If the Sabres win this one, I'm changing my avatar pic from "I want to bereave" back to the "A New Hope" one. I have no hope for this season, but at least they seem to be moving in the right direction.

 

Okay so the avatar stays. But I don't attribute this loss to the Sabres. The refs called a terrible game. Ugh.

I mean, they had TWO two-man advantages and couldn't score. Of course the second one was negated by a blind ref, but still.....

0 for 6 on the Power play says it all.

 

Too tentative. No one wanted to shoot on the first 5-on-3, especially. They just passed it around for a minute and a half.

Gah. They split with the best team in the conference. Can't be all bad. But this was the most frustrating game I've watched in a while.

 

BUT:

 

The reason it was frustrating is this: I now expect more out of my Sabres. Now they CAN win every game and to see the crappy calls (and non-calls) by the refs makes it frustrating as hell.

 

Tornado sirens going off all over the place down here in Nashville... think I'll head to the basement.

Tornado warnings south of Indy...What the heck? It is the first day of winter. Oh well Sabres lose, bad weather and Bills play tomorrow. Looks like it might be a 3 for 3 weekend. UGH!
