Tallinder looks like hell.

This is not the game the Sabres have been putting together under Nolan. He's going to have to set then straight quick.

That last shift by Weber in our zone was great. Feed Chara his teeth Mikey !

Weber sure was playing him tough.

Not a Weber fan, but he just did a great job on Chara.

He's not a top 6 D but he's going to do things most of our D won't. Clear the crease, cross check within the rules, ankle slash, face wash. He's the kind of player every team needs.

Getting ready for the game. Just had my pre-game meal of meatloaf. Felt it was worthy as this will be a blue collar/working class struggle in their barn against a P'd off team. I can't wait to see the new guy but am tampering my expectations a bit because we all know how these things go with an unproven AHL player. Nevertheless I'm excited. As always, GO SABRES !

Come on, this is SabreSpace! You didn't have meatloaf, you had a baked melange of ground beef, crusted with a slathering of ripened heirloom tomato paste and high fructose corn syrup.

I thought Omark didn't look very good in the first. Kid needs to get up to NHL speed after too long in the AHL.

Omark was off the mark.

Uh oh. Marchand with out a twisted vag...

Rayzor may have just had the worst breakdown of a player injury I've ever heard. I'm almost certain it was his left shoulder or right leg but Rob was insisting on it being his left leg which was harmlessly lifted in the air.

He didn't for sure, but I'll give him a pass for now since his first time on the ice with the Sabres was in warmups tonight.
