I like Hank, and he gets through most games on on brains and effort.

But his fast-twitch muscles can't keep up.

I think we are watching his last NHL season.

 

On the other hand, McBain has been better I thought he would be.

He can skate and carry the puck and hasn't been the turnover and 2-on-1 queen I pictured.

 

Porter, Ellis, Omark, D'Agostini, Flynn and Girgensons - really how many of these guys were consensus NHLers at the start of the season? Only one of them will be to start next year.

 

Give Omark a chance. Guy had no practice and played with Flynn and Porter. Enough said!!!

 

Unfortunately, I think at least 4 of the 6 are back next year. 1 will be here in 2 years. I looked at 26's projected roster yesterday and of the 21 players I think 15-17 are back next year and 5-8 who will be here in 2 years.

What about old Lameo, the Thin Finn? He got knocked around like a Kewpie doll out there! I saw him take an elbow to the head behind the goal and go flat on his back. He's just about useless in a physical game like this one was.

 

And Boston has a team full of scumbags.... Chara, Marchand, Lucic.... just a bunch of cheap shoting slugs that are always instigating. The officials did not fairly have control of that game, that's for sure. There was a lot more stuff that could have been called against Boston and wasn't. That penalty against Ott - where Chara slashes Ott's stick and OTT gets a penalty???? Pegula ought to use screen captures of that and file a formal complaint with the NHL and tell em they need to get these officials squared away!!!!
