I think it's time to stop trying to make it look like D'Agostini was some kind of steal from waivers and get him off the 2nd line, I'd rather see Ott between Ennis and Girgensons as the #2 line.

I'd like to see a game in Montreal some day.

Me too. I want to see a game in the Forum some day. And the best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago.

6 first period goals through the first 30 games.

That's pretty incredible or if you prefer pathetic

So Orpik got punked by Thonrton..

..and found his life somewhat shortened.

He went to the bench

And found the team wench

Then felt like he'd just won a fortune.

Am I doing this right?

Ding! Ding! Ding!

We have a winner!

All he did was what we always wanted Darcy to do. Break up the underachieving core. After '75, those guys got awfully entrenched and comfortable and did nothing in the playoffs until the spring of '80 and then had another early exit in '81.

Cheap.

The game had been chippy from the get-go with tempers flaring, but took a turn for the worst after Neal clocked Marchand with a knee to the head while Marchand was kneeling on the ice.

In a separate scrum immediately following Neal's hit, Thornton then went after Orpik and dragged him to the ice, throwing a few punches with a gloved hand while Orpik was down. Orpik appeared to be in some serious trouble on the ice, not moving before being attended to by medical personnel.

EDT: Probably not the right thread but I thought I'd save people the trouble of looking for it.

I think D'Agostini is Stafford. He brings nothing.

Call me "crazy" but I prefer scoring line guys who actually score. :flirt:

... maybe the Sabres' problem is they're too white.

If it means anything, I didn't get any of the intermission report on GameCenter.

Nice of them to give us a college football break.

....and now we're losing to the Habs. That didn't take long.
