Randall Flagg Posted December 8, 2013 Report Posted December 8, 2013 Hell yeah! This place is the main reason I'm coming back to St. Bonaventure for the spring semester :P
I am Defecting Posted December 9, 2013 Report Posted December 9, 2013 This is probably great news for Upstate dairy farmers.
skaught Posted December 9, 2013 Report Posted December 9, 2013 They sell it in grocery stores in southern california too. There's been a Yancey's fancy booth at the Long Beach GP handing out cheese samples the past few years.
Sabre Dance Posted December 9, 2013 Report Posted December 9, 2013 Try the Yancey's Steakhouse Onion Cheddar. It's pretty awesome, but no one will want to stand within 5 feet of you after you're done. Getting the onion flavor out of your mouth takes at least 18 hours.....

Getting the onion flavor out of your mouth takes at least 18 hours..... That's what ink means, I think. The stuff is good, but they're really heavy handed with the flavor. I'd almost try to cut it 50/50 with "regular" cheese to balance it out.
LTS Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 Best cheese curds around here! Concur. Awesome stuff.
Doohicksie Posted December 12, 2013 Author Report Posted December 12, 2013 Costco carries it sometimes here in Texas. And I've seen it in other stores. But the part I thought was interesting is that they were marketing it on the Arizona cablecast with Roby as their spokesman.
