bunomatic Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 We got them right where we want them
wjag Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 Petan out for 10 for abuse of officials and Fucale gets a PP tripping call on the SHG attempt. That's not something you see everyday. Canada with a beauty
3putt Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 He looks like a man amongst boys physically. He looks very fluid as well. Doesnt panic.
Robviously Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 Kris Baker @SabresProspects10m Pardon my ethnocentrism, but as good as Ristolainen/Zadorov have been in this WJC, USA's McCabe was a cut above both in 2013. #USA #Sabres This is exciting.
wjag Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 Penalty shot: Shorthanded attempt goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Robviously Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 Jhonas Enroth @JEnroth12514m Lol. Canada are out? Sweden - Finland in the final in Sweden! Exciting!
Robviously Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 Jhonas Enroth @JEnroth12514m Lol. Canada are out? Sweden - Finland in the final in Sweden! Exciting! Of course, the previous tweet caused a few of our Northern neighbors to lose their mind. Jhonas Enroth @JEnroth125 21m Sorry all Canadians. I wasn't "chirping" Canada. I was really just excited that Finland made the final vs Sweden. #itsnotallaboutcanada Finland hasn't won the WJCs since 1998, when they were led by....Mika Noronen! Sweden hasn't won since way back in 2012. It'll be the third gold medal for whoever takes it in the championship.
bunomatic Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 Fins played good. Canada didn't deserve to move on. Back to the NJ/Buf. G.D.T.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Fins played good. Canada didn't deserve to move on. Back to the NJ/Buf. G.D.T. Yup they did everything better then us today.
wjag Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Yup they did everything better then us today. I was surprised at the Fins today. They rope-a-doped Canada.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Grigorenko with a PPG on a deflected pass puts Russia up 1-0 in the Bronze Medal game.
darksabre Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 I really like this Barbashev kid. He's like a bigger Afinogenov.
Weave Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 I really like this Barbashev kid. He's like a bigger Afinogenov. Does he use only one entry move and then turn the puck over?
darksabre Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Does he use only one entry move and then turn the puck over? Two entry moves okay! Also, I really don't like Fucale.
wjag Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Geez.. who knew the Russians could/would play defense
wjag Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 I'm a neutral observer to the Canada-Russia game.. These announcers are heavily biased toward the Canadians. Canada this, Canada that.
darksabre Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 I'm a neutral observer to the Canada-Russia game.. These announcers are heavily biased toward the Canadians. Canada this, Canada that. And yet...Russia.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 I'm a neutral observer to the Canada-Russia game.. These announcers are heavily biased toward the Canadians. Canada this, Canada that. To be expected on a TSN broadcast.
bunomatic Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 I'm a neutral observer to the Canada-Russia game.. These announcers are heavily biased toward the Canadians. Canada this, Canada that. Much like NBC when an American team plays international sport. Funny that.
SwampD Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Much like NBC when an American team plays international sport. Funny that. …and at least TSN knows that Seden and Russia even have a team.
wjag Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 To be expected on a TSN broadcast.    Much like NBC when an American team plays international sport. Funny that. NBC is very clearly biased. I didn't realize it was a TSN broadcast. I didn't watch any of the pregame or intermission stuff.
bunomatic Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014     NBC is very clearly biased. I didn't realize it was a TSN broadcast. I didn't watch any of the pregame or intermission stuff. I suppose they play to their audience which for TSN the majority would be Canadians and the same is true for networks from the U.S. If TSN actually aired an unbiased telecast they'd probably have some politician calling for a public inquiry into it.
