In this case from last nights games for each team. Impossible to know more until morning skate and warmups.

Got it. I was wondering if you had an inside source, or an outside source, or something.

In any event, the GDTs that you've started this season are great. Thanks.

You're very welcome. I just gather whatever info I can find based on team sites, practices, injuries, and coach interviews.

Ted Nolan said yesterday to expect both McNabb and Grigorenko back in the lineup for tonight.

Definitely said that in his presser. I noted it under lineup and notes in the Thread OP. Will be interesting to see who they draw back in for.

Where does Griggy go? The lines last night seemed to work pretty well -- I don't want to mess up the scrap of chemistry we saw.

I'd guess McNabb comes in for Weber.

John Scott sits and that line ends up as Foligno - Grigorenko - Flynn?

Good call. I'd actually be kinda interested to see that line.

As would I. Grigorenko needs sheltered 4th line minutes and Foligno and Flynn are decent linemates as well.

Also agree with the above posts. Foligno and Flynn may not have a ton of offensive talent, but they're two of our better possession forwards. I think that line could at least get some decent offensive zone time.

NOTEBOOK: D'AGOSTINI PLAYS BIG ROLE IN WIN

Newly acquired right wing Matt D’Agostini had a solid performance in his first appearance with the Buffalo Sabres. D’Agostini was held off the score sheet, but he managed to record three shots on goal in 15:39 of ice time and finished the game with a plus-1 rating.

D’Agostini came in with a simple mindset, ready to work hard for the team, and he said he feels like he accomplished that against Toronto.

“I was just trying to work hard and contribute in any way I can,” D’Agostini said after Buffalo’s 3-2 overtime victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs at First Niagara Center on Friday. “Early on, I didn’t want to try and do anything special, just work hard and shoot the puck. I think I passed up a couple opportunities, but it felt good to get the first one under my belt.”

Center Mikhail Grigorenko and defensemen Jamie McBain and Brayden McNabb were the healthy scratches for the Sabres.

Grigorenko was made a healthy scratch for the ninth time this season after playing in the last three games.

With the Sabres carrying eight defensemen, Nolan has been consistently rotating defensemen in and out of the lineup. McBain was a healthy scratch for his third straight game, while this was McNabb’s first game as a scratch since being called up from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League. Mike Weber returned to the ice in place of McNabb.

Center Cody McCormick remained on injured reserve, but interim coach Ted Nolan said that McCormick could possibly be active for Saturday’s game in New Jersey. The Sabres and Devils will square off at 7 p.m. from Prudential Center.

It's so nice that I don't have an aneurysm every time I find out what the lines are going to be anymore. Stafford and Leino playing well helps that a lot.

People don't "have" aneurysms.

And it's not peri-less fight.
