26CornerBlitz Posted November 30, 2013 Author Report Posted November 30, 2013 Shouldn't 52 to get a couple a more games before getting the boot? Nope...He smells!
hockeyhound Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 Leino was on fire tonight; worked, worked, and worked some more. RJ gets a chance to draw out the call; he SSSSCCCCCCCOOOOORRRRRREES in OOOOOOVVVVVEEERRR time. Let's Go Buffalo!
26CornerBlitz Posted November 30, 2013 Author Report Posted November 30, 2013 Enjoyed Ville, Myers, Staff, Dags, Luker, and Miller tonight. Good job boys!
Derrico Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 It's over. Trust me I hate being Debbie Downer but we have NO SKILL. Unless Toronto goes to sleep it's over. How's that crow taste? Did u eat it raw or warm it up?
JJFIVEOH Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 How's that crow taste? Did u eat it raw or warm it up? Oh no you di'int! :D
millbank Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 clear sign of the end times i tell ya... :o
Eleven Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 clear sign of the end times i tell ya... :o I think the Sabs have won three games without going to a shootout, and two of them...well... I could be wrong, though.
SwampD Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 clear sign of the end times i tell ya... :o Ya gotta admit, that was a pretty good game.
CallawaySabres Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 These guys are playing for each other, and their coach. Leino and Stafford are really turning corners and that is all on Nolan.
nfreeman Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 put a slice in the fridge Metaphor?
nfreeman Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 I wouldn't mess with the Adam, Ennis, Girgs line...they had lots of chances. They were really good. They may have finally found the right spot for Ennis.
grinreaper Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 These guys are playing for each other, and their coach. Leino and Stafford are really turning corners and that is all on Nolan. I was impressed. Wasn't that Leino who had the primary assist on Moulson's goal when he was down on the ice?
nfreeman Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 Seriously, best game of the year? Certainly the most entertaining. Should we be surprised that Myers, Stafford, Leino and Luke Adam(?!) are finding themselves under Nolan? The first three have been our best players since Teddy arrived. One of Leino's best games in blue and gold. There was a lot to like tonight. For one thing, Adam looks determined not to take this chance for granted. That little move of swapping Tropp for D'Agostini had an interesting, and tonight beneficial, domino effect on the lineup. D'Agostini has some skill -- clearly more than Tropp -- enough to play on the line with Leino and Ott, thus sliding Ennis down to Adam's line. Very competitive, enjoyable game.
Monkeygirl Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 Game notes: I was in attendance for the first time since 2006! Goodness that's not right but I'm going to try to make it to another one this season, preferably against Toronto, hahahahaha. They played harder than the leafs for most of the game and were actually all over the ice really getting those loose pucks and working the boards. Their passing is pretty terrible but seemed to get better at some point. Myers looks like he's getting his head above water. Leafs fans threw beer cans on the ice at the end of the game, like 15-20 people decided that would be a good idea....that was despicable. They are stupid and uncouth on purpose. At least my ride over the border was pleasant, but my driver was on the losing end so it was difficult to rub it in.....but I tried. Got an awesome jersey/sweater thing for $50 cuz I didn't want to wear my white Biron goathead jersey. Anyways, these were basically my own game notes since I never get to really watch too many games in any focused or prolonged manner and I'm self consumed. The team is still bad but they can win the odd one when they don't turn it over too much and scrum it up behind and in front of the net. The leafs offer that wonderful opportunity. I don't know if they can win against other teams like that without improving on passing but we'll seeeeee, or you guys will see, I'll just monitor on the radio and watch highlights and listen to Nolan. Goo-nite.

Huckleberry Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 Was just about the say how much i loved his patience to find the hole but that is amazing :P And i love the new found confidence myers is showing, brings back his booming shot, reallly scares the other teams.
Andrew Amerk Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 It went THROUGH the skate! Oh. Sh!t.
... Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 It went THROUGH the skate! If that isn't a sign from God, I don't know what is.
kishoph Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 I wouldn't mess with the Adam, Ennis, Girgs line...they had lots of chances. It's an interesting combination that looked like it could work, I'd like to see them get a couple more shifts. After Adam scored he played possessed, a little confidence can go a long way. Nice play by D'Agostini to break up the shorthanded chance and the right call was made, even though I was surprised, because I hardly ever see them give that call to the defender.
sicknfla Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 How's that crow taste? Did u eat it raw or warm it up? The worst part is I missed it. Took the family to the movies. Last Vegas is very good BTW. Hey it worked. For years I have gone to the negative thinking vibe. This time it worked. Tonight vs the Devil's? It's over!! 2 in a row??
