hockeyhound Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Ouch, again. and again; please stop the bleeding. Slllllooowww... decision making out of our zone. Hodgson
Iron Crotch Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Oof. Game, set, match. The Blues IMHO are one of the top 4 teams in the West. ...too much talent differential in this one.
PromoTheRobot Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Well that was a short honeymoon. Back to sleepwalking through games.
Iron Crotch Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 This might be the shortest GDT ever.
LGR4GM Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Man Nolan's post game will be good after this. Glad we played for that 10 seconds. Always nice to play with a lead for 2minutes.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 This might be the shortest GDT ever. The kids they sent down today may not have been NHL ready, but it was interesting to talk about them and watch them grow before our eyes. These guys........
LGR4GM Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 why McBain just backed all the up to Miller and let the guy shoot. I miss Ristolainen... he ran stuff over and was better than Weber and McBain. Yes I just hated on Weber, his game tonight sucked a lot. Wonder when McNabb will be joining the roster? Probably by Thursday. Also Kaleta's speed and skills are missed. just a couple years away from McCabe, Zadorov, Ristolainen... gotta keep saying that.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Even the Carubba Collision was lame.
hockeyhound Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Players up from the AHL this week; maybe someone gets benched. Can't blame the kids anymore.
Iron Crotch Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Weber and McBain just aren't very good. Luckily we're stacked with defense prospects, so it is only a matter of time before a substantial upgrade.
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Why the F do you frazzle multi colored spotlights in front of your goalie when you have a defensive zone faceoff?
BuffaloBorn Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Even the Carubba Collision was lame. lol
26CornerBlitz Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Not again! @BuffNewsVogl Ville Leino also just went back to the Sabres' dressing room, with athletic trainder Tim Macre trailing him.
LGR4GM Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Is McBain scared? He just backs up and backs up and backs up. Can we trade him yet? He is the opposite of what we need on this team. His defensive zone play sucks.
darksabre Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 We sent the kids back for this? The tank is alive!
LGR4GM Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Girgensons and Foligno look good... so there is that positive.
... Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 I bet Moulson can grow a full beard in 48 hours. Girgensons and Foligno look good... so there is that positive. Ennis looks good, too.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Leino's back on the ice. Yay. Ted and Patty...This was not entertaining.
hockeyhound Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Is McBain scared? He just backs up and backs up and backs up. Can we trade him yet? He is the opposite of what we need on this team. His defensive zone play sucks. McNabb  McBain
LGR4GM Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 2 Vanek slug jerseys sitting behind the bench...
inkman Posted November 20, 2013 Author Report Posted November 20, 2013 Ted and Patty...This was not entertaining. Same crappy players
Nitro60 Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Nolan and Lafontaine have to see what they have and against a quality opponent. Give them time to see which players are keepers and which need to be shipped out. I expect by February we will see the change start. One or two of the young guys might come back in the last month or two of the season. This is a fresh start and new approach to rebuilding the franchise. Tonight was a good gauge at where they stand. They showed effort and solid play but a few mistakes ended in the back of the net. On the DirecTV feed, the arena sounded unusually quiet.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 Same crappy players Yep. Simply outclassed.
